Chapter 5

I wake up, half asleep in my bed. My eyes focus a bit more and are less blurry. I can tell that it's not morning yet, it was still dark out. I turn my head a bit to my side where I can feel eyes. I look and see Dallace, blushing and hear mumbling coming from him,"so cute" was what he said.

  I can also see his pale white hair. I wasn't sure if I was seeing it right as it was dark and my eyes weren't all cleared up yet, but I could see a streak in his hair was a light shade of pink.

"Dally..?" I whisper, my voice cracked as I had just woken up.

Dallace flinches as his eyes look at my face. His face turns redder and he looks scared and worried, and his streak of hair... it got a bit pinker.

"D-Darling! I was just uhm... I was trying to go to the bathroom but I ended up here in your room and... by your-by your bed... but-!" He starts to say before I interrupt.

"Dally, it's alright. I said you could wake me at anytime you need me, remember?" I say in a whisper.

"Y-yeah, sorry..."

"Don't apologize Dally, I told you that you could. Now what do you need?"

"I just... I just wanted to be with you."

"Come here then, you can sleep on my bed tonight if you'd like." I say as I scoot over to make room for him.

"I can? Oh thank you darling!" He says with delight as he quickly gets under the covers, his hair still turning into a brighter pink.

  Once he laid down and looked comfortable I scooted closer to him. I put my head on his chest as I hugged him. I suppose he wasn't expecting that as his body tenses immediately at the touch of my skin on his.

"Oh, do you not want to cuddle? It's okay if you don't want to baby." I say, my voice still raspy.

  Dallace blushes harder at the sound of my sleepy voice and also because of the fact I called him "baby" for the first time. Dallace adores your voice like this.

  He shakes his head and says,"No please don't let go. It was just... sudden is all. And I've told you already that you can make all the decisions for me. You can do whatever and I mean whatever you want to do to me, please understand that darling."

  I look up at Dallace, his white hair continued to form more and more, now into a pale red streak.

"Oh Dally, I couldn't do that. You have to make your own decisio-"

"Darling I-... I'm so sorry I didn't mean to say that, I just... spaced out. Darling... darling you must return me. I'm starting to fall in love with you." He says, sounding scared of himself, yet immediately holds me tight.

"What's so wrong with that?" I ask.

"Because, I'm dangerous. I get too possessive and clingy. Not only that, I get jealous really... really easily."

"Baby, I'm not gonna take you back there. I chose you knowing all of the things you've just told me."

"I know darling but you don't understand. Once I start acting obsessive you'll regret ever going into that building in the first place. You must know that once I fall in love with you... I-I can't be in love with anyone else but you. And I don't wanna ruin your life once I do. Your life is perfect, so please just please take me back." Dallace says, his voice trembling.

"Dally, please don't say that. I won't regret it I promise. I love you. We can take whatever happens one step at a time." I say softly.

  Dallace looks at me his eyes filled with nothing but worry and love. But his gaze quickly changed in an instant into obsession and love. It was as if... as if he was a different person.

"Darling?"

"Yes Dally?"

"You know I love you. So very much, and you can't take me back now, you know that right? I warned you, I told you to take me back and... and you didn't. I told you I would get possessive and clingy, and you still..." His grip tightens even more. "You still kept me. You-you really love me, and I love you too. I love you, I love you, I love you..."

  I stared at him, his streak of hair was dark red and the shade of red wasn't changing anymore. I finally look down after a few seconds and snuggle into his chest. Dallace's grip on you doesn't loosen a bit as he whispers "I love you" over and over again as you close your eyes and drift off to sleep.
