Calico Jack was helping the octonauts on a few missions, he was doing this one with his grandson, kwazii, they were checking out an Island, it seemed really off "Okay, so we Gotta be sneaky and slow, we just know theres something off about the island, but we don't know what..." Calico Jack said "Uh, if we don't know the issue, shouldn't we be quick and Sneaky? not slow?" Kwazii said... Calico Jack looked at Kwazii...
Calico Jack looked at Kwazii and shook his head. "No, lad, we can't be quick and sneaky. That's how you get into trouble. We have to be careful and observant. That's how you find the clues."
Kwazii rolled his eyes. "Clues, schmues. We're not detectives, we're explorers. We're supposed to have fun and discover new things. Not tiptoe around like scaredy-cats."
Calico Jack frowned. "We're not scaredy-cats, we're smart. We don't know what dangers lurk on this island. It could be anything from pirates to predators to poisonous plants. We have to be prepared for anything."
Kwazii snorted. "Pirates, predators, poisonous plants. Sounds like a party to me. Come on, grandpa, live a little. Where's your sense of adventure?"
Calico Jack sighed. "It's not about adventure, it's about safety. You're too reckless, Kwazii. You always rush into things without thinking. You need to learn some discipline and responsibility."
Kwazii glared at Calico Jack. "And you're too boring, grandpa. You always follow the rules without questioning. You need to learn some creativity and spontaneity."
The two of them stared at each other, their eyes full of anger and frustration. They had reached an impasse. They couldn't agree on anything.
They heard a beep from their radios. It was Captain Barnacles, calling from the Octopod.
"Shellington and Dashi to Octopod, do you copy? Over."
Calico Jack and Kwazii grabbed their radios and answered.
"Calico Jack and Kwazii to Octopod, we copy. Over."
"Calico Jack and Kwazii, how is your mission going? Over."
Calico Jack and Kwazii looked at each other, then away.
"Not so well, Captain. Over."
"Why not? What's the problem? Over."
Calico Jack and Kwazii hesitated, then spoke at the same time.
"Kwazii is the problem. Over."
"Calico Jack is the problem. Over."
They glared at each other again, then realized what they had said.
They heard a sigh from the other end of the radio.
"Calico Jack and Kwazii, I think you two need to talk. Over."
Calico Jack and Kwazii groaned, then muttered.
"No, we don't. Over."
"Yes, you do. Over."
"Captain, we're fine. Over."
"Captain, we're busy. Over."
"Calico Jack and Kwazii, this is an order. You two need to sort out your differences and work together. Over."
