Kwazii and Dashi, two of the crew members, are harsh in their judgment, and Barnacles feels guilty for what happened. A month later, Peso is found to be alive, but he had to stay hidden for some reason. Even with Peso back, Barnacles still feels guilty and becomes distant from his crew, eventually running off. Can the Octonauts help their captain? Or will he forever be distant?
One day, Barnacles and Peso were on a Mission, the mission was going smoothly, Nothing bad seemed like it was going to happen....
The calm sea belied the danger that lurked beneath. Barnacles and Peso, confident in their mission, navigated through the vibrant coral reefs. The Octonauts had sent them to collect samples of a rare algae that held potential for medicinal purposes. Everything was proceeding according to plan, with Peso meticulously documenting each specimen.
Suddenly, the water around them began to churn. A violent undercurrent swept through the ocean, the prelude to an unforeseen storm. Barnacles, ever vigilant, noticed the change in the tide and signaled Peso to return to the GUP. But it was too late. A rogue wave, rising like a behemoth from the depths, crashed over them with merciless force.
