In Book 4 of Shadow of the Past, Paani is revealed to be hurt and sick due to the explosion attack on the Octpod and some sort of poison. Shellington, Barnacles, and Kwazii must find some rare flowers that may help him survive, maybe with the help of some Octo-Agents and Tweak. Meanwhile, they are hunted by Lisa, Paani's twin sister, who is the one who made the Octopod blow up and poisoned Paani.
shellington and kwazii got to an island, they just escaped the octopod, witch was now on fire cause something exploded... "You're okay!" Barnacles said... "captain I found something other than explosion injuries with Paani-" peso started as he walked over...
shellington Looked at Peso, Paani, the Pale Orange; Peach Macaque Monkey was shellington's crush... "what do you mean peso..?" Barnacles asked "there's some sort of poison... something or someone poisoned him..." Peso said "what..?" Shellington said... Peso led them to paani, who was leaning on a tree... Barely conscious... Shellington ran over "Paani...!" he said... "what happened?" Kwazii asked, Paani looked away, he didn't seem to want to say who it was... Shellington looked at him.... "whatever we have to figure out who did this later... right now we have to save him!" Shellington said "We don't have what we need for the cure... shellington... the flowers I need to make it are rare..." Peso said, shellington looked at peso... "we have to find them..." shellington said... Paani coughed...
they didn't see a brown Macaque Monkey watching them... it was Lisa, she would follow barnacles, shellington and Kwazii when they left, and try to stop them...
