Chapter - 29

[Everyone left the storage area and KS went out to check on Karn and the other guy in her style.]

[The only people left there were HM and AV]

AV - Haseena ji you okay?

[AV was hesitant to approach the topic but he knew he had to say something.]

[HM didn't look at him. She stared in front of her and nodded.]

HM - Ji. Hume case pe dhyan dena chaiye.

AV - Bilkul.

[AV handed the files and records MS gave him, over to HM]

AV - Ye iss case se aur un photos se jude kuch records hain.

[AV extended the records toward HM but she didn't take them]

HM - Hume to isme likha sab pata hai, dekhne ki jaroorat to aapko hai.

AV - Nahi hai Haseena ji.

[Av's words made HM confuse]

HM - Kya matlab?

[HM raised a brow and asked]

AV - Dekhiye Haseena ji main chahta to ye saari reports, details pehle padh chuka hota lekin case se related jo bhi relevant hoga I'm sure aap mujhe bata dengi aur jo case se related nahi hai wo aapki private life hai. Main usme interfere nahi karunga.

[HM think back to how Anubhav had all the small details of her life even before he met her.]

AV - haan lekin agar kabhi baat karne ka man kare, to know that I'm here.

[AV gave HM a small smile and was about head out of the storage room when HM stopped him]

HM - Waise aapki coffee service raat me bhi chalti hai ya wo sirf one time offer tha?

[AV turned toward her and smirked] 

**Meanwhile**

KS - Haan to bhaiya aisa hai ki apne aap bata doge to fayde me rahoge warna trailer to hum tumhe de hi chuke hain.

[Karn who was sitting in front of her was shaking with fear]

Karn - Mam me bataya tha mujhe kuch nahi pata us envelope ke baare me.

[KS started to get up from her chair]

Karn - Nahi nahi me batata hu.

[KS sat back and waited for Karn to speak]

Karn - Mam mujhe Khushi di ne bola tha ki station se parcel leke aana hai. Kisse lena hai, kya hai usme kuch nahi bataya tha.

KS - To phir jisse parcel liya use kaise pehchana tumne?

Karn - Mam mere paas message aaya tha Khushi di ka unhone mujhe tabhi description diya jisse parcel lena hai aur gate ki taraf jaane ko bola tha.

KS - Lekin sir ne bataya tumne bahut jaldi confess kar diya.

[KS raise a brow at him]

KS - Ka bhaiya? wafadari bhul gaye kya?

[Karn had a bitter laugh]

Karn - Mam kya wafadari? Iss sab plan me hume kuch nahi milna.

KS - Ka mtlab?

Karn - Mam ye jo scheme ya job ya jo bhi ye bahane hain na isme koi kisi ke saath loyal nahi hai. 

KS - Na Matlab paheli me na bhaiya humse baat mat karo. seedha seedha batao ka baat hai.

Karn - Mam me shuru se batata hu.

[MS was searching for Rani's relatives on her laptop in the main cabin when she heard AJ and Saurabh's voices coming from outside of the thana]

Saurabh - Aarushi dimag pe mat lo baat.

AJ - Pata nahi kyu per Amar humesha se hi aisa behave karta hai. Even when was new here, he was the same.

Saurabh - Haan lekin phir bhi uski baaton pe itna dhyan kyu de rahi ho? Humara kaam khatam ho jaayega uske baad nahi jhelna padega na Amar ko ya inme se kisi ko bhi

[That piqued MS's interest and she moved slightly toward the window to have a better understanding of their conversation.]

AJ - Baat inko jhelne ki nahi hai lekin hum aapna kaam pura kare bhi to kaise? Har cheez beech me atki huyi si lag rahi hai. Naa idhar koi solution mil raha hai na udhar.

Saurabh - Tumhe lagta hai ki boss ka plan sahi hoga?

[The phrase was more alerting than it was confusing for MS]

[Boss? Plan? The words they were saying and the tone they were talking in were all suspicious to MS]

AJ - Mujhe filhal sirf itna pata hai ki hum yahan phas chuke hain. Hume aage jaayen ya peeche hathen koyi fayda nahi hai.

Saurabh - I think hume Amar aur baaki sabko bata dena chahiye.

AJ - Aur usse kya hoga?

Saurabh - What do you mean kya hoga? Maybe humara kaam ho jaye.

AJ - Tumhe sach me lagta hai Amar humari baat sunega?

[There was a pause in their conversation almost as if they were moving]

AJ - Uska bas chale to abhi hume turn in karde bas isliye shaant hai kyki Haseena Malik ne keh rakha hai.

Saurabh - Don't be a fool Aarushi. Amar pagal nahi hai. Bahut chalak hai wo. Agar usse isme apna fayda nahi dikhta to aisa nahi karta wo.

AJ - Phir bhi Saurabh bahut risk hai. Agar hum team ko ye batate bhi hain to bhi there are no certain chances ki ye hum par trust karenge.

Saurabh - Dekho plan to hume pura karna hi hai. Inn sab me Amar objection jarur karega.

AJ - Agar Haseena Malik ko mana le to Amar object nahi karega.

Saurabh - Fir bhi unko bhi to convience karna padega.

AJ - Haseena Malik ko to main convience kar lungi par ek baat hai.

Saurabh - Kya?

[There was another pause and they moved further away from the window making it hard to listen for MS]

[MS shifted more toward the window unless she was leaning over it.]

[Their broken voices could be heard but MS couldn't make anything clear from their conversation]

[MS closed the working window of her laptop, took her phone, and went outside of the office.]

[Before she could reach AJ and Saurabh though, KS's voice called everyone inside.]
