Chapter - 30

HM - Waise aapki coffee service raat me bhi chalti hai ya wo sirf ek one time offer tha?

AV - Abhi mangate hain.

HM - Aree? Hume to laga tha aap achi coffee banate hain isliye keh rahe the. Kya hua confidence chala gaya?

[AV scoffed and then smiled.]

AV - Haseena ji mera confidence bhi acha hai aur mere haath ki coffee bhi. Lekin haan galti sarkar ki hai.

HM - Acha wo kaise?

AV - Ab unhone thane me kitchen nahi banwaya na. Banwaya hota to abhi aapko Amar special coffee pine ko milti.

HM - Oh, there's a name?

AV - Of course, there's a name. Bahut lucky hain aap aapko offer mila hai warna log taraste hain Haseena ji humare haath ki coffee pene ke liye.

HM - Wo to hum judge kar hi lenge.

[AV moved closer to her]

AV - Any special requests Haseena ji?

[HM looked at him with her whole attention]

HM - Coffee expert aap hain na aapko pata hoga.

AV - Main coffee ki baat nahi kar raha.

[HM blushed and was about to say something when KS's voice attracted their attention.]

HM - I am sure Karishma Singh ko kuch to pata chala hai.

[HM faced AV again and said.]

HM - Chaliye dekhte hain.

AV - Abhi?

[HM went past him but turned back when heard him.]

HM - Aur kab jaayenge?

AV - Haan. Chaliye.

[HM and AV went out of the storage room and into the hall area where KS was standing with her arms crossed, glaring at the door.]

[MS was the first one to enter, her phone in her hand as if was about to record something, followed by AJ and Saurabh.]

AV - Karishma Singh kya hua?

KS - Sir ye aap inse puchenge to behtar rahega.

[KS then pointed toward Saurabh and took a threatening step toward him.]

KS - Haan bhaiya. Khud bataoge ki humse mehnat karane ka man hai?

[Saurabh's eyes went wide with horror and he looked back and forth between Karn and KS]

Saurabh - Madam me... aap meri baat suniye.

KS - Dekho bhaiya aisa hai ki itni der se hum to baat hi sun rahe hain lekin tum batao tab na.

HM - Karishma Singh aapko kuch pata chala?

KS - Ji Madam sir bilkul par wo kaa hai na ki hum ye chah rahe hain ki inka sach sunle nahi to phir humara mukka to ache acho se sach nikalwa leta hai.

[Saurabh looked terrified and he looked over at AJ for help but she didn't came forward.]

Saurabh - Madam maine aapko sach hi bataya hai.

KS - Jhoot!

[KS roared and to say that Saurabh saw a ghost would be an understatement]

Saurabh - Madam kuch cheeze maine nahi batayin thin lekin...

[Saurabh looked at HM hoping she could save him from KS]

KS - Usse jhoot hi kehte hain. Aur ye!

[KS then pointed toward AJ]

KS - Aap to badi imandari ki dookan ban rahin thin abhi ander kaa hua uska? Na matlab jab apne pe aati hai kon kitna imandaar rahta hai sab pata hai hume.

AJ - Dekhiye Karishma Singh...

[HM interrupted her.]

HM - Karishma Singh aap bataiye kya hua? Aapne Karn se baat ki. Kya kaha usne?

KS - Madam sir ye jo log hain na.. Ye sab aastin ke saap hain aur ye Aarushi madam..

[AJ again inturrupted KS]

AJ - Karishma Singh main aapki senior hu.

HM - Karishma Singh baat kar rahin hain to aap chup rahengi to behtar rahega Aarushi Jain.

[HM calling out AJ like that was shocking for everyone including KS and AV]

[Though AV looked at her with admiration and let her continue]

HM - Karishma Singh. Continue.

KS - Madam sir Karn ko wo photo waale lifafe ke baare me to jyada nahi pata lekin jitni bhi baatein Saurabh ne hume nahi batayi hain wo sab pata hain.

Saurabh - Madam main uske mostly saare operations control karta tha lekin sabki details mere paas nahi hain.

[Saurabh admitted hoping that could save him from KS's wrath and establish some underlying trust with the thana members]

Saurabh - Aur rahi baat iss envelope ki to haan maine envelope deliever hone ki date or time set ki thi aur ye bhi ki delivery lene me jaaunga lekin mujhe nahi pata tha ki envelope me kya hai.

MJ - To phir date or time kaise set kiya aapne?

[MJ who was still suspicious of both Saurabh and AJ didn't hide it and asked]

Saurabh - Maine call meeting set up ki thi. Haan itna mujhe jarur pata hai ki usme jo bhi contents the wo Haseena mam se related the because boss ne jise contact kiya tha wo Haseena mam ko marwana chata tha.

[Everyone gasped at this except for AJ and KS]

MS - Aur Aarushi mam aapko ye pata tha?
[MS half screamed at AJ still respecting her position as her senior though]

AJ - Look..

[AV didn't give her the chance to explain though]

AV - Ye point nahi hai. Point ye hai ki ab tak ye information tum dono me se kisi ne kyu nahi di.

Saurabh - Sir I thought it was not relevant.

AV - Relevant?

[AV's harsh and raised voice attracted everyone's eyes to him but he couldn't care less.]

AV - Ye jo tumhari boss hai Haseena ji ki jaan lena chahti hai aur tumhe ye information relevant hi nahi lagti?

AJ - Amar uski baat ...

[AJ didn't get a chance to complete her sentence as she gets cut off by AV]

AV - Shut up! Tum dono pe bharosa to pehle hi nahi tha lekin now I think ki help bhi nahi leni chahiye thi.

[AV stalked toward Saurabh who was now even more feared]

[AV stops a few inches away from him and towers over Saurabh]

AV - Aur kya kya jhoot tumne bola hai jise tum irrelevant keh ke justify karne waale ho.

[AV grabbed Saurabh by his collar and Saurabh hurriedly said the words that he thought could possibly save him in this situation]

Saurabh - Sir plan kabhi Haseena madam ko marwane ka tha hi nahi. Boss ne sirf ye kaha tha ki Haseena madam ko involve karenge, dealer se paise lenge aur phir...

[Saurabh trailed off in the sentence]

AV - Aur phir kya?

[AV said from gritted teeth]

Saurabh - Aur phir bas kaam khatam.

I tell you what guys, I thought this series would be short and simple. The story that I planned was short initially but the actual scenes turned out to be long with the dialogues.

I could try to concise some things in background texts if you all want to complete the story faster. Or we could keep up the pace (and I'll try to update the chapters fast) keeping all the dialogues and full story in detail.
