New Beginning for Haseena Malik

Chapter - 31

[HM threw the photos that she was holding and staring at for the past half hour on the floor.]

[Her eyes didn't have tears, her face didn't show emotions but the voice in her head was constant.]

[-KS - Ye nahi ki jab duniya se chale gaye hain to aapki jindagi se to jaa hi sakte hain.-]

[Her mind wanders back to what KS said about AV but the doubt and distrust she had for Anubhav was haunting her still.]

[She was so engrossed in her thoughts that she didn't even realize when AV entered the room]

[The same storage room seems to become a secret hideout for them both.]

[AV forwards a coffee mug in front of HM which makes her get out of her trance.]

[HM didn't say a thing and accepted the mug with a small smile when AV picked up the photos from the ground]

AV - Aapko galat lagta hoga for sure lekin hume to iss insan ko thank you bolna chahiye.

[HM snapped her head toward AV]

HM - Amar hum majak ke mood me nahi hain.

AV - Arre hum bhi nahi hain Haseena ji. Lekin aap hi bataiye agar aapki sachme shaadi ho jaati to humara kya hota.

[HM looked away from him]

AV - Aur waise bhi kehte hain jo hota hai ache ke liye hota hai.

HM - Aapko lagta hai ye sab acha hai?

AV - Nahi bilkul nahi hai.

[AV shifted in his seat to face HM completely]

AV - Acha to tab hota jab aap iski wajah se smile kar rahi hotin. Lekin haan kuch achi baat to hai.

[HM now looked at AV giving him her full attention]

AV - Wo insan aapko deserve nahi karta Haseena ji. I don't care ki wo mar chuka hai ya nahi lekin even if wo abhi jinda hota bhi to I am sure ki maine use maar diya hota.

HM - Aap to puri baat bhi nahi jaante.

AV - Main wo sab jaanta hun jo baaki duniya jaanti hai. Lekin usse farak nahi padta. Farak isse padta hai ki aap mujhe kya batana chahti hain.

[Av placed his coffee mug down and held HM's hand in his]

AV - Dekhiye Haseena ji, main baatein ghumunga nahi kyuki main already wo kar chuka hun. I like you. I really do like you. Pehle to mujhe aapke kaam karne ka tarika pasand tha and to be honest main aapki respect karta tha even though hum same thane ke liye compete kar rahe the. [HM was just staring at him without saying a word]

[AV retracted his hands shocked to hear that.]

AV - Haseena ji...

[AV looked down embarassed]

[AV rubbed the back of his neck still looking downwards in embarrassment]

HM - Thode?

[HM laughed a little]

AV - Haan maybe thode se jyada.... Lekin it's true. Main kabhi nahi chata tha ki aap uss namoone se shaadi karen.

[His hands were back on HM's hands, covering them from the chilly wind]

AV - Infact the moment mujhe ye pata chala ki aap wo photo waale aadmi se shaadi karne waali thin to... call me wrong lekin i was relieved ki aapki sagai toot gayi.

[It was HM's turn to remove her hands and she looked at AV with wide eyes.]

HM - Aapko pata bhi hai...

[AV began to explain his side.]

AV - Nahi nahi.. I know ki aapke liye bahut difficult raha hoga Haseena ji lekin aisa insaan jo shuru se hi aapko manipulate kar raha tha is not good for you.

AV - Dekiye main ab bhi yahi kahunga ki main puri baat nahi jaanta.. main nahi janta ki exact kya tha aur jo news ya internet pe hai wo sab sahi hai ya nahi pura hai ya nahi per main ek cheez jaanta hun... [HM's eyes were now glistening with the tears she never shed.]

[She felt like someone understood her feelings when they were not even attached to the incident]

[AV gave her time without speaking anything or telling her not to cry]

[When a tear spilled out of her eye, AV placed his hand on her shoulder letting her get her emotions out]

[They didn't say a word after that as HM let out all her building emotions while AV just sat there holding her close.]

[After a while when she calmed down, AV tried to lift the mood]

AV - Waise coffee thandi ho gayi aapki.

[HM throws her head back and laughs which makes AV laugh as well]

HM - Acha hai.

AV - Wo kaise?

[AV raised an eyebrow at her, smirking]

HM - Agli baar jab coffee date pe leke jaayenge to aapke paas excuse nahi hoga hume bahar ki coffee pilane ke liye.

I know that you all expected more from Amarseena in the previous scene but the story is at the point where I need to do some info dump about the case.

Here's an early update to make up for that!
