I jotted down some notes as I watched another fight for the first time in a while. I sat on the floor with my back facing the rail so I could get the occasional glance at the fight. I noted some important moves down before leaning back and falling asleep due to boredom.

"Lei-chan?" Hao walked over to me. "Yes, Hao-sama?" He sat down on the edge of the hill next to me. "If you reincarnated with me, would you be my Shaman Queen?" My gaze left him and returned to the stars. "Of course, after all, a 𝕘𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕝𝕖 𝕓𝕣𝕖𝕖𝕫𝕖 𝕨𝕚𝕝𝕝 𝕒𝕝𝕨𝕒𝕪𝕤 𝕓𝕖 𝕠𝕟𝕖 𝕨𝕠𝕣𝕥𝕙 𝕤𝕙𝕒𝕣𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕨𝕚𝕥𝕙 𝕪𝕠𝕦, ℍ𝕒𝕠 𝔸𝕤𝕒𝕜𝕦𝕣𝕒." He placed a hand over mine, and I leaned onto his shoulder.

Suddenly, I was shaken awake by Ren. "Stop mumbling in your sleep, would you? It's bothering all of us." I tilted my head down to my notebook. "Sorry. I didn't realize I fell asleep." I replied. He patted my head and smiled before looking back at the fight.

I noticed Hao wasn't where he normally would be, and he wasn't fighting, either. "I'll be back. I need a drink." I told Ren, and he nodded. I walked off to find Hao.

"Hao-sama!" I called to the brown-haired boy. "Hm? Did you miss me or something?" He teased. "I just noticed you weren't there and got worried, Hao-sama." I leaned my head onto his neck. "What's with the sudden affection? Do you trust me more?" I didn't reply but instead lifted my head back up and began to walk away.

He followed after me and grabbed my hand. "Did you... Remember something? From our past lives, perhaps?" He asked. He looked almost disappointed that I wouldn't tell him. "I won't tell. Not yet. Meet me at the same rock from last night tonight!" I gave him a small kiss on the cheek and darted off back to the arena.

"Took you long enough, Suki. I was starting to get worried." Ren said with partial concern in his voice. "Just tripped. Thank goodness I landed on grass!" I laughed, and he smiled with a chuckle.

It was a pretty boring day after that, and I had to wait for everyone to sleep before sneaking out to meet with Hao. That was truly the complicated part because Ren didn't seem to buy my fake sleeping act like everyone else. Getting past him was difficult, but it was done.

"Lei-chan! You made it! I was worried you wouldn't come." Hao smiled. "Yeah, I'm here. I just had to sneak out, and Ren was not buying my act, so..." I sat down on the rock, and he followed. "Was I right about the whole memory thing?" He asked. I replied with a simple nod. "What did you remember?" It seemed that the questions might never end if I didn't answer that. "Guess." I replied. He made a pouty face at me. Seemed he wasn't a fan of guessing. "Not a fan of the guessing game, my king?" His eyes lit up at the title I gave him. Seemed he knew just by that. He practically leaped onto me, showering me with kisses all across my face, ending at my lips.

After a long kiss, he leaned back up. "Sorry. I got a little excited." He said, lifting me back up. "It's okay, Hao-sama." He jumped down from the rock and carried me bridal style with him. "Would you like me to carry you home, Lei-chan?" He asked with a smile. "I don't see a problem with it. Why not?" I replied.

We managed to catch up with each other as he carried me home. It was nice to be in the comfort of his touch. I fell asleep eventually, and he had to make an excuse for why he carried me instead of killing me! Ren didn't really care, either. As long as I was home safe and untouched, he would accept it. I was asked a ton of questions when I was awake, though.

I had to lie my way out of the situation. It seemed he found my behavior as of recent suspicious. He did have every right to, of course. What he didn't know was the relationship between Hao and I. Until a certain night that he followed me.

"Hao-sama! I'm here!" I snuck up from behind him, giving him a surprise hug from behind. "Isn't that obvious?" He joked, kissing my forehead. I giggled and let go of him to sit next to him as usual. We chatted and what-not as normal before Ren made the mistake of stepping on a stick and breaking it.

We looked back to see his piercing golden glare. "Ren?!" We both yelled out in shock. "What exactly is going on here? Maybe something I should have been told about?" He didn't sound too happy either. "R-Ren.. I was gonna tell you, I swear! I just didn't think it would be the right time..." I looked back to my feet in disappointment to myself. Hao placed a hand over mine in comfort. "Now's as good a time as any." He mumbled loud enough for me to hear.

I smiled with a sigh and nodded. "Ren, come sit with us. We'll tell you the truth. I promise we won't leave out a single detail." I gestured to him to come sit.

Yeah, that conversation wasn't the best. He didn't believe anything we said, I'm sure. He seemed to accept it, though. I will never understand him. He simply nodded to what we said. He promised not to tell anyone as well, which was a bonus for us.

Me and Hao met up more often thanks to him.

"I can't believe Ren is doing this. I would've thought he would do something different." Hao laughed. "Like what? He wouldn't do anything that harms his sister. The one and only you." I smiled. "Well, I guess that's true. I didn't consider that." I replied. "I wouldn't think you'd doubt your brother." I gently leaned my head onto him as he stroked my hair. "We always doubt each other. It's a sibling thing."

//I'm sorry for the late update. I won't lie, I was procrastinating and then actually got busy. Please name any mistakes made if any. I'm on 3 hours of sleep, cake, and 2 braincells. Thanks!//
