"5 minutes." Evelyn hears from Mike as she's at the stove making eggs for everyone. It's been a year since Evelyn has lived with the Schmidt's, and it was going great. In that year, she made friends with the neighbor Max, caught up with Ness, and has grown the relationships with Mike and Abby.

Mike and Evelyn have a flirty friendship. They give kisses, they cuddle, hug, fuck and just exchange flirty words back and forth. Everything that a couple would do, they just didn't put a label on it. I guess you could say that they were friends with benefits.

She plates the food and puts it in the designated spots. She went back over to the stove to scrape the sticky remains of the eggs off the pan. Evelyn was eventually startled by hands roaming her body.

Mike sneaks up behind Evelyn, pulling her body into his. "Good morning love. Why'd you leave me so early this morning?" he asks in a slight morning voice. Evelyn melts her body into his, "Abby has school, and we have work." Evelyn worked at the ice cream store in the mall, while Mike was one of the security guards. He made sure to visit her everyday when she was on the clock.

Evelyn turns the stove off and turns to face the man. When she turned around, Mike didn't move his hands, so when she faced him, his hands landed on her butt. Evelyn snaked her arms around his neck. "Abby isn't cooperating?" Mike shakes his head as he asked, "Can't we stay here? Together? All day? Me and you?"

Evelyn let a smile etch her lips. "As cute as you are, we can't miss work." She plants a kiss on his cheek and then try's to walk towards Abby's room to make sure she's moving along, but Mike is quick and grabs her hand, pulling them chest to chest.

He checked behind the girl to make sure Abby wasn't in eye view. He swooped down and landed his lips against hers. Evelyn kissed back immediately, smiling into it. It was crazy and they don't think they would ever get use to it. Evelyn was the first to pull away saying, "Okay, that enough. Abby needs to eat and then school. And you sir, need to go get ready as well." She planted a sweet and quick kiss on his lips and walked away, but not without a smack on the butt by her guy.

Evelyn looked back to see Mike smirking, he was clearly proud of himself. In Abby's room, the young girl was finished tying her shoes. "All ready Aunt Evie!" Abby raced out of the room and straight to the food her 'aunt' had made for her. Evelyn went into her and Mikes room, getting changed. When she was in her uniform, she went and ate her breakfast, brushing her teeth after.

Once she was finished, she headed back into the living room. "Let's go! We need to leave." She left for the front door, holding it open for the siblings. Abby ran out and got into her seat. Mike was close behind, but stopped in front of the door wanting the women to got first. Evelyn smiles and pats his cheek as she makes her way to the passenger seat. Mike started the car and off the three of them went.

Abby was dropped off and was given a hug by Mike and Evelyn. The adults were walking back to the car with Mikes hand on Evelyn's lower back but Evelyn suddenly halted in her place. Her eyes widened, her palms became sweaty, and her knees wanted to buckle. Mike looks over at the girl and then where she was looking. He put himself in front of his girl and held her by the hips.

"Honey, it's okay. I'm here." Mike knew who that was. Not really, but it was confirmed by Evelyn's body language. Andre. Evelyn looked into Mike's eyes and nodded her head. He will not have an affect on me. She took a deep breath, nodded her head, and leaned up to press a kiss to the corner of his mouth.

Mike gave a smile and ushered her to the car with his head laying on her butt. He was going to let this fucker know exactly who he was. Once in the car, they headed to work. Mike's hand found its rightful way to her thigh, creating circles with his thumb. The car ride was peaceful and quiet.

"Here you go, have a good day!" Evelyn said as she handed the ice cream to the customer. She got off in 30 minutes, so she knew Mike would be stopping by soon.  In the meantime, she started to clean her workspace as her coworkers took care of the people. She finished up just in time, her man started to make his way behind the costumer that was currently ordering.

Evelyn was wiping the last counter when she was hearing the costumer make obnoxious request for her sundae. The working girl shook her head and looked over to Mike, seeing that he was looking behind him. Evelyn couldn't see what he was looking at, it was outside her view line.

Evelyn took her place behind the other register and called out "Next!". Mikes attention was snapped to her voice and he smiled while walking towards her. "Hi love. Working going okay?" He asked as he leaned up on the counter. Evelyn smiled at the nickname, it always made her heart flutter.

"Yep, i'm getting off in 5." She told him as she moved to make his usual ice cream. Mike kept looking over his shoulder to the child and man. The man grabbed the child and started pulling him away. Mike took off after them, he would not let another child be kidnaped under his supervision.

"Here you go." Evelyn said as she turned around, ice cream in her outstretched hand. "Mike?". Where did he go? Evelyn was lucky it was time for her to clock out, she could just take the ice cream to Mike. "Hey, I'm going to clock out and take this to Mike. Have a good rest of your shift!" Evelyn said to her coworker, making her way out the door. But what she saw and heard, was something she didn't think she would ever see.
