Hey, it's Max. Leave a message. Or don't. Mike tried calling Max again. "Come on, Max." Straight to voicemail. Mike hung the phone up before going to the living room to where Abby and Evelyn were coloring. Evelyn looked up, seeing a stressed-out Mike. "Go pack," Mike told the little girl. Abby got up and ran to her room to grab her things.

Evelyn stood up and walked towards him. "She didn't answer. I called her twice." Mike said as he pulled the woman into his embrace. Evelyn let out a sign, "Maybe she is not home?" Mike hummed in agreement. Abby came running out with her tent and a bag. "I'm ready!" she yelled. The couple pulled away, "Let's go." Evelyn said.

The older girl took Abby's hand and walked her to the car. Abby hopped right in. She buckled herself and looked up at Evelyn with a smile. The older woman gave one back before getting into her seat.

Mike came out after locking up and grabbing his things. He got in the driver's seat and started heading down the road and towards the old pizzeria.

Mike pulled up and parked in front of the building. "Aunt Evie and I will work and you will sleep, and under no circumstances are you gonna come out of our office. Do you understand?" Evelyn turned around to see Abby. The little girl's face lit up as she stared at the building. "I understand," she replied without looking away from the sign. "This is not a vacation, okay? You're not here to have fun."

"Okay," Abby said, finally looking up to meet her brother's eyes. The two adults got out of the car before helping Abby out. Abby ran up to the front doors, leaving her caregivers behind. "Slow down Abby, stay with us," Evelyn yelled as she jogged up to her.

Once they got in, Abby's face was filled with disappointment. She saw how trashed the place was, making her expectations fall. "Woah, what happened?" she asked, looking around the dirty and trashed building.

It was much worse than when Evelyn and Mike started working there. There was glass everywhere, random stuff littering the floor. Mike caught Abby's scared features that lay on her face. "Give me your hand," he told his sister. "You too," Mike told Evelyn. Abby and Evelyn each grabbed one of his hands as he led them to the office.

"Watch out," he told them both. He led Abby around the glass while he stepped on it. Glass crunching beneath his feet. They made their way to the office, and they set Abby's spot up. "Do you want me to turn the light off?" he asked his little sister and she peeked out the 'door' of the tent they made.
