LEA'S POV
Rose petals are scattered on the floor. I look around to find Dawn but she's not here. I just followed the path where the petals are leading to. It leads me to a garden.
I stop walking. Wala nang petals eh. I just look around me. What a beautiful garden. The bushes in this garden was surrounded with christmas lights. There's also a vase with a baby pink colored roses inside it. It was placed near the bushes. Aww. My favorites.
Then i saw a long ribbon in the ground and it has a note in it. Hold me please. Okay. I picked up the ribbon and hold it. Parang nanggaling sa kung saan yung ribbon pero hind ko makita. The end of the garden was dark at doon nanggaling ang ribbon. Nabigla ako ng hinila yung ribbon kaya sumunod na lang ako. I was amazed on what ive seen. In every step i take, there was a light thats lighting. Parang dumadaan ako sa gitna ng dalawang puno na may roses and ilaw, papunta ito sa dark side ng garden. Pero now, hindi na siya dark. It has light na all over but i stopped and let go of the ribbon. Im in the end of the garden, i think. There's a leaves curtain. I open it and then the lights and christmas lights started to shine one by one. The end of the garden was circle type. Una kasi, strait lang yung daanan pero sa hulihan pala merong parang circle shaped garden na.
Naguguluhan ako. Anong meron? Welcome party? Meron ring small round dining table and two chairs with candle lights. Eh bakit for two lang? What's happening? Tapos may nagvi-violin ng 'A whole new world'. I walked in the middle. Nasa left side ang nagvi-violin at nasa harap ko ang dining table.
Its 6:00 pm na. Natagalan kami sa paglalambingan at medyo malayo kasi yung garden na 'to. Una, natatakot ako kasi akala ko kinidnap ako but when I saw Dawn, i knew na may binabalak sila. But i have to what is it. The music stopped. I look back and saw Aga with a bouquet of pink peonies. My tears started to fall.
He went near me. I hugged him so much. My tears started to fall and it wont stop flowing like a river.
"Sh. Shhh..." he said then wipe my tears. The music started to play again. All of Me naman this time.
"Lei, Babes, you dont know how much i miss you. I waited for 2 years to see you again. Pinuntahan kita dun sa New York but nung nakita kita, naisip ko na hihintayin ko na lang yung oras na ready ka na." nagulat naman ako sa sinabi niya.
"Sinundan mo ko dun?" tanong ko. Umiyak na naman ulit ako.
"Yeah, babes. But after one week, umuwi rin ako dito sa pinas. I just wait for you go back at sinabi na kung babalik ka, magiging akin ka na. Dati pa lang, nagpapanggap pa lang tayo, mahal na kita. Sinubukan kong pigilan yung nararamdaman ko pero... hindi kaya ng powers ko. Hindi madaling maka-get over sa isang babaeng tulad mo. Kaya, kung pwede lang, inamin ko na dati yung nararamdaman ko pero naduwag ako. At 'yun ang isang bagay na pinagsisihan ko sa buong buhay ko. I Love You very much, Lea. And... and... and I cant afford to lose you again." he said while crying and just hug me so tight.
Lumuhod siya sa harap ko. My tears started to fall again. Binigay niya sa akin ang bouquet at may kinuha siyang box sa pocket niya.
"Lei, ayaw ko nang patagalin 'to. *hinga ng malalim* Ma. Lea Carmen Imutan Salonga , will you be my wife?" he said at nagulat naman ako.
"Wife agad?" i asked.
"Ayaw ko nang magsayang pa ng pagkakataon. Alam kong mahal na mahal kita. Okay lang sa akin kung ayaw mo. Makakahintay ako." he said then flashed a fake smile. He was about to put the box back in his pocket. I held his hand para pigilan siya.
"No. Gustong-gusto kong maging babaeng mag-aalaga sayo at mamahalin ka habang buhay. Yes, Aga. I will be your wife for the lifetime." (walang forever!! Lifetime lang.) i said then kneel in front of him. Were both kneeling. I lend him my hands. He grab it slowly then put the ring on my finger. Niyakap ko siya agad. Umiiyak na kaming dalawa.
