Ch 21 | Remember

"Hey! What are you doing today, Y/N?" Seojin ran up to me from behind and back-hugged me. I generously smiled and turned around behind me. She had a luminous smile on her face and it instantly made my mood better.

"Nothing much, just studying." I sighed heavily as she let go of her arms and turned me towards her.

"Only studying? You can't spend the rest of your life studying! You need to have fun once in a while!" Seojin argued, but I knew she was right. My studies were as crucial to me as any other special event.
It meant I was doing well in school and was going to get somewhere in the future, but exaggerating it can be stressful.

Seojin: It can be bad mentally if you spend too much time studying...

Y/N: I know... But I have to do it or I will fail my classes. I can't let that happen.

Seojin: At least ask me to help you and I will!

Y/N: I can't trouble you with that.

Seojin: I don't mind it at all, if anything it's helping the both of us in a way.

Y/N: True... But we have different subjects and it would get things all mixed up.

Seojin: Oh yeah, I forgot about that...

We both stood silently for a little, we realised both of our opinions were true and we couldn't help it. Seojin was studying science and I was studying English. The differences between subjects would make things complicated.

But we realised our contrasts and didn't think much of it after that.

"So you said you're not doing anything today? How about I change those plans." Seojin said with an arrogant grin.

"What do you mean by that?" I raised one eyebrow out of interest and held one hand on my waist.

Her gaze was rejoicing and assured as if it seemed to her that I already knew what she meant. To be honest, I did. It meant that she wanted me to come to her house again after school, of course, I couldn't say no, it's fun going there.

I sighed and nodded to which she cheerily giggled and changed her whole demeanour in just a matter of seconds. It was startling how someone could go from complete enthusiasm to delight in two seconds.
But that's Seojin...

"I look forward to seeing you tonight!" She winked and shot me a thumbs-up. I cracked up and held my hand over my mouth to contain any laughter escaping.

She was bothered but started chuckling shortly after and we were left in a laughing mess.

I was suddenly met with a pat on my head from behind, and I didn't even look behind me because I already knew who it was.
The same person who comes up to me almost every and pats me on the head.
Taehyung.

I couldn't help but smile and look around. I held my hands behind my back and looked up at him as he was looking down at me with a beaming expression.

"You look happy today!" Taehyung rejoiced.
