The room was cold, the window was open and all the frigid air roamed around the room. The icy delicacy was like peace to his mind once and for all. Not a single day was peaceful for him ever since that day. His mind had been at war every day, trying to convince himself that what had happened wasn't his fault and it was beyond his control. Nonetheless, he had a role in what happened, regardless of what anyone else said.

Eventually, the freezing weather broke its way towards him and his fingers became numb to the frostiness. It was depressing to see someone who was usually so cheerful and friendly become this state. However, the mental pain and anger wouldn't be ending anytime soon. Memories came flooding back into his mind whenever he remembered the happy and simple times that wouldn't come back no matter how hard he tried to wish for it.

Life was going to stay this cruel and unbearable way forever. It wasn't going to be how he had remembered. The days when everything was going just well. The days when life was listening to him. It was all over now, and nowadays there was no hope for him to continue going anymore.

A few days ago, one of the people he admired and cared for the most had passed. Life had taken a turn for the worst, and just when he thought it was all getting better it all changed drastically. What point was there to keep going when she wasn't there with him anymore? How could he live when she wasn't there for him every day?

It was depleting.

How someone's life can be taken almost instantly without further warning.

Despite the daunting challenges that lay ahead, the burning desire within him to mete out the person responsible for causing her so much pain was unquenchable. In his eyes, that individual had no right to continue leading a happy and carefree life after what they had done.

With close to zero punishments held, the person continued to walk free with only a warning to his name. It wasn't fair. They killed a harmless person and they walked free. Even if it was a misfortune, sentences should be provided for doing it.

Because he seems pretty pleased with himself after it.

FLASHBACK
"I know what you're thinking. Don't do it, you'll regret it!" The desperate guy pulled him away from the person.
That person was responsible for the death of his beloved girlfriend and he wasn't going to let it slide so easily.

"Get off me! This isn't your business!" The other guy screamed while the tears were falling down his cheeks. This wasn't going to be the end of it, he hadn't yet given the guy a suitable punishment for his actions. Maybe if he wasn't driving so recklessly, she could still be alive right now.

Heartbreak is what he was feeling. Beyond distraught running through his mind. He wasn't going to let him get away with it.

"It is my business when it involves you! Stop acting so carelessly!" The guy tried to prevent him from attacking the culprit. With all the strength and mentality he had left inside him, broke out of the arms of his best friend and ran towards the one responsible.

"NO! TAEHYUNG COME BACK!" The best friend held his arm out in desperation and utter disbelief. Not only was his friend losing his adored girlfriend, but now he was going to be facing jail time for assault. Life was taking turns in the worst ways possible. Now that she was gone, he had immediately lost his mind and last longing to live. It was mentally harmful to see him act this way. Nonetheless, it was defensible.

A few seconds later he ended up in front of the offender and he had a smile on his face.
However, Taehyung wasn't smiling. It wasn't funny at all. The intense and threatening stare in his gaze was horrifying. Fists clenched together and his demeanour was deemed extraordinary. To say he was infuriated and heartbroken would be an understatement.
