As they witnessed the unexpected turn of events, both of their eyes grew larger in disbelief and confusion, while their mouths hung agape. Despite this, her expression remained unchanged, and the same look of terror still lingered on her face as before.
Y/N: W-Why did he leave?..
Mom: Y/N, it's me, your mother!
She held her hand and Y/N flinched as her skin made contact with her mother's.
Y/N: Mother? But I don't have a mother! Father told me she died when I was young... He wouldn't lie to me!
Suddenly, her mother's face became furious but she remained her composure in front of her daughter and warmly smiled at her, giving her a slight inch of trust, if she even had any of it left.
Mom: That isn't true, what he said was a lie. Please listen to me and I will answer any questions you have.
Y/N: But he's my father, he wouldn't lie!
Mom: I know, but please believe me. 
Y/N: How can I believe you? You are some random woman I've never met!
Mom: Never met... Just what happened to you in that year..?
Y/N: What do you mean? Year?
Mom: You've been 'dead' for a year.

Mom: I know, but he faked your death.
Y/N: He didn't stop lying to me.
Mom: Please Y/N, trust me when I say this, he isn't who you think he is. He might've brainwashed you into thinking he's the best person alive, but he isn't if you take a moment to realise all he has done.
Y/N: Stop spreading lies and bring my father back already! If that is true, I wanna hear it from him himself!
Mom: Fine, I'll bring him back.
Y/N: Finally.
Mom stands up and leaves the room, taking one glance back at both of her children behind her before proceeding to leave the room and find her father.
But Y/N was still confused, who is this guy?
Y/N: Who are you?
