Ch 27 | An Awaited Meeting

"I don't understand... Why would he agree to it so easily? There must be something else going on..." We were walking to the cab that I ordered and he was still being cautious. I told him everything that went down in the messages and he still doesn't feel right about it.

It wasn't that difficult to convince that guy so I don't understand his confusion? Just promise him not to report him and you're good to go. Honestly a really stupid idea.

We sat at the back of the car and I pushed my hair to my shoulder and breathed in and out deeply. I don't even know what will happen, that guy is dangerous and a risk. I can't risk Taehyung being seen with me.

That's why we have to park somewhere a little further from the location where he is meeting me.

"Has he messaged since?" He asked quietly, looking out the car window. It was starting to lightly rain and none of us brought an umbrella.

"It's raining. Are you sure you wanna do this?" He sighed, crossing his arms on his chest. "It could be dangerous."

"I'm sure. This is the final step of finding out who he is. I have to go." I reassured him and held my hand on his shoulder.
"It will go just fine."

Taehyung: I just don't want anything to happen... I don't know... It just seems suspicious how he is suddenly willing to meet you. Wasn't he against it before?

Y/N: People can change their minds, you know? Also because I promised not to report him but of course, I'm gonna end go doing that. All I need is a name and a face and we're good to go.

Taehyung: What if he knows? What if he's trying to lure you there? You don't know what his intentions are.

That's true. He could be luring me there to kill me or something. That's why he came with me in case something happens.

But I couldn't help but feel nervous. My heart was nearly pounding in my chest when we arrived there. We were a minute away from the meeting location, and I didn't feel like it was far enough but it had to do for now.

I paid the driver and I opened the car door to stare down at the floor. Was I going to do this?

I might not even come back alive to tell the tale. That guy is dangerous and that's a fact. His intentions could be bad. No, they ARE bad.

I took one last look at the location he sent me and It was the correct place.

I guess there's no backing out now.

"I'll be over there. Yell if anything happens and I'll be right there." Taehyung held my hand and nodded. I felt safer now I knew he would be there with me. But the unnerving part about it all is I have to speak to him and encounter him all by myself.
