He stared at the small photograph on the wall that displayed both him and Y/N happily enjoying a moment together.
They were hugging and in the other photo, she kissed his cheek while he widely smiled.

The things he would do to relive those moments.

Picking up the photograph with tears threatening to escape, why did things have to take a drastic turn like this?

All that was left of her was a photograph and a few distant memories, it didn't feel right all of a sudden.

-

An area where they had both shared sweet wholesome moments together, originally had two frequent visitors, now it has one monthly visitor.

The air felt cold, but cool at the same time, all that was heard were the small birds chirping in the trees and the wind gently flowing. The grass wasn't as vibrant as it used to be, and all the flowers were dead. It wasn't as colourful and romantic as he remembered it to be, I guess time aged it.

He sat down in the same spot as he used to when he was with her, it didn't feel the same to come here now that he was just one.

As his hair blew in the wind, his eyes landed on the large tree in front of him that looked like it had writing displayed on it.
Standing up, he walked over to the tree and brushed his hand against the wood to reveal two initials and a sentence underneath.

They were their initials.

And the sentence read out:

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

Tears were forming in his eyes and all that was on his mind was to see her, but he knew that was impossible.
He defeatedly sat back down in front of the tree buried his face with his hands and sobbed quietly, letting all his hidden emotions free at last.

The moments he cherished together with her were only a memory in his mind, unable to recreate them but just remember.

"Why isn't he answering the phone? Goddamn it..." With an exhausted sigh, he violently smacked the phone down on the table, not even concerned about breaking it.
"Just what is he doing? He was supposed to meet me 10 minutes ago..." He brushed his hair with his hand and stood up to walk out of the door until the person he had been waiting for suddenly appeared in the doorway with tears visible on his face.

"Taehyung! You're finally here! What took you so long? And why do you look like you've been crying?" He asked, squinting to look at his face properly.

"I haven't been crying, maybe you're just seeing things. I was late because I was busy with something." Lying, Jungkook understood and nodded.
