The memory of what she had done with Aemond, after all he had done to her, was more than shameful for her. The shame was like a thousand pinpricks on her skin, assaulting her body whenever she thought of what she had done.
Was she really that easy to have?
She couldn't explain what had come over her. Aemond's touch had triggered an old desire in her and the need to be touched by him had come over her like an avalanche of snow and exploded inside her like a fire. Aemma closed her eyes as the memories of what he had done to her came flooding back.
His fingers that had caressed her body, his kisses that had caressed her body and his tongue that had given her unimaginable pleasure.
Aemma moaned in despair and banged her head against the wall.
She was lost.
A knock on the door snapped her out of her thoughts and she looked up in surprise. Who was knocking on her door when they could just come in? Aemond certainly wouldn't knock and the servants who had been assigned to her had been let in by the guards without notice.
She allowed entry and when her eyes fell on Daeron, Aemma jumped. She had expected everyone but him. She felt the longing growing inside her to throw herself at him and take him in her arms, but she paused when she saw his gaze.
He closed the door behind him and looked at her for a moment. She found his gaze uncomfortable, searching, as if she were someone he didn't know. Maybe that was the case.
She did change.
And Daeron obviously too. She wondered when he had arrived.
She was happy to see him, to know he was okay, but she didn't know if Daeron felt the same.
