Simamkele's pov:
"You look gorgeous princess" he says. Yes,I'm his princess. It's hard to find maternity clothing that is in my budget range and really nice. Mom really spoils me a lot but I don't want to get used to it,it'll make me lazy to work. I fear I'll lose my passion if I get too comfortable.
"He's not lying" Olivia says turning me around. I smile looking at myself in the mirror. My skin has become fairer and smoother. This is all Olivia's doings. She makes me exfoliate, shave and all those type of things. I have my hair in small knotless braids. My hair is now shoulder length,I haven't straightened it in a while. My baby bump is big and drooling. The dress I'm wearing hugs my curves perfectly. The color matches with my skin, olive green.
"Let's go,everyone's waiting" Olivia says kissing my baby bump. I catch Jason wiping a stray tear. He's so dramatic. We walk out of my room, behind each other. The lounge is decorated with balloons and drapings. Mom is standing there with our family members,Jason and Olivia's friends, and my one and only friend from school-Snothando Sangweni . She's the love of my life I swear.
"Surprise!" they shout and I laugh because I knew all about it. Mom is the first one to hug me. She's been so good to me,God bless her soul.
"We didn't know what to say" she says making me giggle. Multiple hugs stream in from all sides, the last to hug me is Snothando.
"You look gorgeous" she says. I blush, because she's also so pretty.
"Thank you my favorite lady"
"Don't do that, what will boo say?" we laugh. She's engaged to be married. We never call her partner by name, we call her boo just for the fun of it.
The day commences, speeches are made, we eat and dance merrily, everyone is happy but most especially me.
I stretch as I wake up from that beautiful nap I had after the very long night we spent dancing and laughing. I woke up craving fresh scones. We didn't have any scones in the house. I guess I'd have to use my allowance, which I hated doing because I wanted to save just enough to spoil my little baby. I got up from bed, immediately making it just to kick start my day. I took a quick shower because I was dying of hunger. I wore grey tracksuits because it was a little windy outside. My phone rings,Snothando Sangweni.
"Hey babe" she says
"Did you get home safely? I'm sorry I didn't check,I fell asleep"
"Mila awuzwani nokubingelela vele?(Mila you don't like greeting,do you?)" she responds making me giggle.
"Why should I greet you? You're my best friend"
"Mxm,anyways, I was just checking if you're okay. My brother is in town so he offered to pay for my groceries and my brother never pays for anything. I'm grabbing the chance with lightning speed" we laugh. Snothando and I have been friends for a couple of months but I didn't know anyone from her family, they all lived in South Africa. All I know is that they are rich and famous.
"Alright, get going then,I need my breakfast now" we said our goodbyes and hung up. I walked out of my room to the kitchen. I made toast with butter and tea. I went to sit at the dining table, I guess nobody was awake yet. I finished and cleaned up the kitchen a little,I think they cleaned the house before they went to bed yesterday.
"Hello love" mom walked in kissing my forehead and my round belly. I smiled
"Hey mom, when did you guys sleep yesterday?" She laughed
"We slept today,in the morning" I looked at her,not believing her
"What? I'm still young" we shared a laugh "are you hungry?"
