Simamkele's pov:

I walked out the building doors with Nombuso and Skyler after work. Today I don't have time to stay a little for a chat,it's a week till Snothando's wedding and everyone else has landed. We're meeting up to discuss roles and responsibilities,and learn the dances. I headed to the taxi rank after changing my heels to flip flops. The walk home from the centre seemed to be really long. I got home and Chloe rushed to hug me. I hugged her back giving her a lot of kisses

"Mommy I've been waiting for you to come back" she says going back to drawing. Loretta comes into view. I greet her and thank her for agreeing to stay for the night. I take a quick bath before changing into a beige bodycon long sleeve dress. I think I'm starting to really love my body,that's why I'm always wearing tight dresses. Chloe opens the door and sits on my bed. I tickle her and she laughs really loudly

"You've tired me out" I say huffing

"You look beautiful mama" she says touching my dress

"Thank you baby" I blush. I untie my hair because I can just feel the headache coming. I really need to get it done. I spray water on it and comb out my curls. I dyed it autumn brown before graduating. It really goes well with my eyes. I apply mascara and some perfume. Now,shoes.

"And then she called me with my Zulu name,I told her everyone calls me Chloe though" I listen to my baby telling me about her day. Which shoes am I going to wear? I end up picking my black JD sandals. My curls are bouncing dramatically when I walk. I receive a call from Snothando telling me that Nkosi is outside. I quickly pack my handbag. I walk out with Chloe and Loretta

"Mommy who is this?" she asks holding my hand

"This is aunty Snothando's brother" I say and she waves at him. He waves back smiling at her. I kiss her cheeks before handing her over to Loretta.

"Hey you" I say settling in the passenger seat

"Hey Mila" he responds. He's the only one in his family that calls me Mila. He starts the car and we drive in silence. Unusual. "Are you okay?"

"Yes" I say and stare out the window

"You hungry?"

"Yeah,but only a little"

"Let's pass by McDonald's" he says changing lanes

"Fine by me"

"You're paying" I look at him in confusion and he starts laughing

"I'm joking yho,I'll pay" I giggle because I wasn't going to pay anyways

"Where's your brother today?" I ask him

"He's at practice,he has a big match coming up" he says driving into McDonald's drive through

"Oh,what does he play?" I ask after he ordered for himself and I

"Soccer,I thought you would have googled him" he says

"Why would I google Musa? He's an open book" he looks at me and then types his pin on the machine.

"I thought you were talking about Ndabe" he chuckles.

"Why would I ask you about Ndabe?" I ask genuinely confused

"I thought you guys were into each other" he says and looks at me. I give him the look "come on,you're shy but you're shyer in front of him. With him I can't tell whether he just wants you in his bed or he just really likes you" I look at him again really confused. Why would he think we like each other? "What world did you grow up in? Don't you know when a guy teases a girl he likes her? I know it's so primary school but still. Snothando sees it too and that's why she doesn't want him near you"
