At Raghuvanshi palace..

It was 6:00 pm in the evening and everyone were returning back home...

First were Mira and Shikha who returned back from the orphanage and NGO they run , following up were Chitranjan and Janki Devi who turned back from their evening stroll.

Charu and Rajiv also returned back from their colleges , Rajiv had planned to do MBA and as for Charu she wanted to be the best lawyer.

Around 7 pm Pratap , Vanraj and Lakshay also returned back from office.

Everyone sat in the huge living room of the palace to have family time...

" Pratap , where is Siddharth..!?" Chitranjan asked his son.

" Baba sa you know him , he is still working in the office." Pratap said with a heavy sigh.

" Mera mehnati baacha..." Janki Devi said moving her fingers in air and attaching it to both side of her head , a tactic to remove evil eyes .

( My hardwork child...)

" That's ok but he shouldn't be working always maa sa , he never listens to anyone nor does he takes proper care of himself.." Shikha said with worried expression.

Chitranjan and Janki looked at each other and smiled...

" That problem will be sorted soon , don't worry Bahu Rani..!(daughter -in-law) " Janki said with a broad smile leaving everyone confused.

" What does that mean maa sa..!? " Mira asked her mother-in-law.

" You will find out soon... Have you both started preparing for kuldevi puja..!?"

" Yes maa sa everything is done . "

" Ok then we will live for Udaipur day after tomorrow...and by that time Rajputs will reach their too . " Janki said with a different happiness in her eyes.

Everyone smiled as they saw Janki Devi is extremely happy...why not she will be meeting her best friend Baruni Rajput after a year.

Janki and Baruni were childhood friends and called each other soul sister's , their bond was unbreakable and it still is...!! The two paki Saheli (best friend) love each other so much that anyone could mistake them as real sisters.

" Mira beta (child) tell Siddharth about kuldevi puja beforehand... His presence is very important." Chitranjan said .

" And also tell him no laptop or files this time.." Janki added strictly.

" Ok maa sa.." Mira replied with a chuckle.

Everyone had their dinner and left for their bedrooms except for Mira who was waiting for her workholic son to return back.

The clock struck 11 and Siddharth entered in the palace , first thing he saw was his maa sa waiting for him in the living room.

" Humne kitne baar kaha hai humara intzar maat kiye kijiye maa sa.. " He said tiredly and kissed his mother's knuckles.

( I have told you so many times don't wait for me mom..!! )

" Aur humne kitne baar kaha hai itni dher tak kaam maat kiye kijiye yuvraj..." Mira said pulling Siddharth's nose playfully , he smiled slightly.

( And I have told you so many times to not work till late prince...)

" Maa sa you go and sleep now.."

" No , you go and freshen up I will set the table for you ." Mira said lovingly .

" Maids can do it , you should rest.."

" I know that..." Mira said and left towards the kitchen , Siddharth shook his head as he knew his mother won't leave before he eats.

He returned back after getting fresh and wearing casual clothes , Mira served him food and sat down looking at her handsome son eat.

" Siddharth keep your schedule free day after tomorrow... We are going to Udaipur for kuldevi puja.. "

" Ok maa sa.."

" One more thing , maa sa strictly said to not carry any files and laptop with you like last time."

" Hmm..." Siddharth just hummed .

He was almost done eating , Mira got up to leave as well...

" Siddharth hume asha hai aap apni dadi sa ki baat ka maan rakhege.." She said before leaving and Siddharth nodded his head.

( Siddharth I hope you will follow your grandma's instruction.. )

Siddharth entered his room and lied on the bed , it was almost 12 and he was in deep thoughts...

Siddharth was looking at the ceiling which was white carved in dutches designs but his imagination took him to another dimension where he could see a girl laughing and running around...

{ kya hua Sid , udaipur ka naam sunte he kisi ki yaad aagayi..} his inner voice said .

{ What happened Sid , hearing Udaipur's name are you missing someone..}

Sid snapped out of his imagination and blinked few times..

Why will I think about that lier spoiled girl , who doesn't even know how to act like a girl let alone princess of Jodhpur...

{ Accept it Siddharth Raghuvanshi you were thinking about her..} his inner voice mocked at him.

Yes I was, but it wasn't intentional...look it's 12 am which is considered ghost time and she isn't less then any bhootni (ghost)

Siddharth shook his head giving his inner voice a unreasonable answer and shoving it off .

He closed his eyes and soon drifted to sleep...
