Next day the hearing begin at sharp 9 , Sahil stood in the palisade as the culprit...
The judge arrived and everyone stood in respect.
The procecutor Deepak shah started and asked few questions to Sahil which he answered deligently.
" My lord this are statement reports of the driver Shambhu... " He handed over the reports to the judge, in the report it was clearly stated by Shambhu that Sahil was the one who gave him money to crash Siddharth's car.
The judge nodded reading the reports.
" Defendant may proceed.." taking it as a que Charu stood up and put forth her first argument with respect to the reports.
" My Lord if Sahil Malhotra paid Shambhu then there should be records of the transactions but Shambhu has none... And if my client Mr Malhotra paid him in person then how does Shambhu couldn't recognise Sahil in the first place." She stated and someone among the spectator clenched their first muttering a small curse under their breathe.
" Objection my Lord that doesn't prove anything , maybe Sahil Malhotra has sent someone on his place to give money to Shambhu..." Deepak spoke with a smirk.
Charu tried her best to consume as much time as possible because she didn't got much time to collect some nailing proofs or arguments because of time shortage.
The court was adjourned for the day and everyone took their leave , Charu was collecting her things when Deepak walked up to her...
" Hello Ms Charu.."
" Hello Mr Shah.." Charu replied professionally.
" Best of luck for the next hearing.." saying that Deepak went away , Charu scoffed at the mockery in his tone.
In the evening Charu went to meet Sahil to ask him about every single detail he can remember from his past few days activity.
After the meeting time was over Charu stood up to leave when Sahil whispered a small thank you which she returned with a small sweet smile.
