I never thought I'd feel this way,
But here I am, in love with you today.
You're my friend, my confidant, my rock,
And now I'm feeling something that's hard to block.
I don't know when it happened, or why,
But I can't help the way I feel inside.
I want to tell you, but I'm afraid,
That it might change the way our friendship is made.
So I'll keep it to myself, for now,
And hope that somehow, someway, somehow,
You'll see me in a different light,
And we can be together, day and night.
Until then, I'll just keep on dreaming,
Of a love that's true, and never fleeting.
And maybe someday, you'll feel the same,
And we can be together, without any shame.
