I thought I had found my soulmate,
But it turns out it was all a mistake.
I gave you my heart, my love, my trust,
But you left me here, feeling like dust.
I thought we had something special,
But now I see it was all superficial.
You never cared for me, not really,
And now I'm left here, feeling silly.
I wish I could go back in time,
And tell myself to read the signs.
But now it's too late, you're gone,
And I'm left here, feeling alone.
So I'll pick up the pieces, one by one,
And try to move on, now that you're done.
It won't be easy, but I'll find a way,
To heal my heart, and live another day.
