I've been holding back these feelings for so long,
But now I can't keep them inside, I have to be strong.
I'm not sure how you'll react, but I have to try,
To tell you how I feel, before the chance passes by.
You're the light in my life, the sun in my sky,
The reason I wake up each morning, and the reason I try.
I've been watching you from afar, admiring your grace,
And I've come to realize, I want to see your face.
I want to hold your hand, and walk with you in the rain,
I want to be my shelter, and protect me from pain.
I want to be the one you turn to, when you're feeling down,
I want to be the one you love, and the one you're around.
I know I'm not perfect, and I have my flaws,
But I promise to love you, without any pause.
I'll be there for you, through thick and thin,
And I'll never let you go, or let you give in.
So here I am, baring my soul,
Hoping you'll accept me, and make me whole.
I love you more than words can say,
And I hope you'll feel the same way.
Whatever I am,
I hope you'll understand.
I hope accept,
