The Greatest – Sia, Kendrick Lamar

-Okay! - Hank said, as he firmly placed his hands on the table filled with papers that Connor was looking through, repositing and analyzing time and again.- Tell me what's happening.

- Well... - Connor started, sweeping away his completely disheveled hair - I still have no idea. Of the ten bodies we've overviewed, six of them had the words ,, Ra9 won't save you '' on their faces, optionally ,, Ra9 didn't save her/him ''. Since we got home, another four bodies have been f... - he stopped, and his LED flashed yellow – Sorry, five already. - he finished. - Still in the river's proximity, but they haven't been fished, it may be a chance for us, althrough it's still raining. We have to go there tommor...

- Jesus, I don't mean that damn case... - Hank snorted - Stop thinking about it, even just for a second. I'm talking about Reed. Why has Folwer put him on disciplinary leave for a month and nobody wants to explain the situation to me.

- Oh... - the android slightly came back to here and now. - He threatened Chriswith a weapon. And he smashed his hand on my face. - he said before he managed to think deeply.

- Sorry, what he did...? - he spoke angrily.

- He sighted a gun at Chris.

- And he hit you!

- Not exactly... Rather he hit himself on me. - Connor tried to correct - But everything's fine.

The mysterious case was completely consuming all of his thoughts. He had been trying to contact Markus, but unsuccessfully. Taking care of Gavin's situation wasn't his intention, and he regretted telling Hank anything.

- No, I cannot believe! I'm gonna kill that bastard! That shithead has no right to even touch my shoe sole, let alone... my partner's face!

Connor was watching the tirade in complete peace, even with some amusement.

- Agreed. - he threw with ease - It's exactly why he got suspended.

He looked back at the papers. The boy had been looking at them since they had got back from work. For a week they were driving and analyzing the new bodies. Information about them appeared on the news tickers in every single broadcast in Detroit. The strange caption was always cut with the same, precise and sharp tool. Usually it was on the face, but in case it was in bad condition, sometimes it had a place on the stomach or on the back.

It looked like the work of some kind of serial killer.

- Come up. - Hank said, all of a sudden – I have something to do for you.

The android looked up.

- You know, I think I'll handle this these papers for a while, it's really important, I might have missed something.

Hank sighed, lifting his gaze to the ceiling. And then, without any excuces, he took the chair that Connor was sitting on and moved it away from the table.

- First off - he said, lifting Connorup by his collar like a cat rise its baby by the loose skin on the neck - It wasn't even a question. Secondly : you didn't miss anything. You've been scanning every slip of these papers for six hours. Six. Fuckin'. Hours. Remind me, how long your little battery inside works?
