Havana (feat. Young Thug) - Camila Cabello

Chloe was sitting in the observation room, watching the woman sitting behind the glass and she felt completely confused. Almost scared.

Every time she noticed Magdalena's characteristic head movement, the cold gaze, or heard her familiar, irritated snorting, a shiver ran through her. She wasn't very similar to her brother, yet she was similar enough to make her uncomfortable.

- Connor, I don't like that. - she said telepathically to the boy sitting right with the Lieutenant in front of her. - If she's just like him also when it comes to personality, we shouldn't trust her, she can be an excellent manipulator.

- I know, calm down. I'll be watching her. - he replied, giving her calming clance. He didn't want her to feel in danger.

- So... - Lieutanent started insecurity - What brought you here?

- My brother's death? - Kamska answered cynically, raising her eyebrows - Maybe he was a sociopath and an asshole, but I stated that it would be worth it to finally make a visit, especially since he didn't let me when he was alive. I guess that Elijah didn't really like to pride himself on his family ties. - she pronounced the man's name differently than they did, more like it sounded El-ee-ach.

- Moment, moment. - Lieutenant raised his hand - How can we be certain that you're related to him? That you didn't make a fairy tale?

The girl opened her eyes wide.

- Are you serious, Mister? - she shook her head - If you don't believe me, you can do a DNA test, I don't mind at all. Anyway, that's not the point for God's sake! - she snorted. When she was irritated, her weird accent was getting stronger. - The point is what have happened to Elijah! I think I have information which would be useful.

Hank sighed heavily.

- Fair enough. Speak. But we will do those tests anyway, don't delude yourself. At the begginning, tell where are you from and what do you for living.

- And why aren't you in my database. - Connor interjected. It worried him a little.

- I'm from Poland, just like our parents. I'm a programist. I work with androids. - she parried quietly - Ironic, isn't it? All of the problems in my life have their source in the creation of them, yet I still help with creating them in my country, I delete mistakes, fix accidents. We're so backward that we're only now introducing technologies that have been in use here for years! And my brother obviously didn't want to help us in any kind of way, he didn't even admit his origin! - she muttered - Nevermind, let't get to the point.

- Fuck, finally... She's bullshiting about something for an hour before getting to the point, apparently it's a family thing. - Anderson thought, but he didn't dare saying it, if only not to interrupt her.

- There was twelve years gap between us. He always was brilliant, a year after my birth he could recite by heart the entire high-school program with a finger in his ass without any particular learning. Not as if I were stupid, but I don't have a four-digit IQ, so before I turned two, our mother took the more successful shithead under her wing and moved to the States so he could develop himself, leaving me and my father in the lurch. At the beggining, they used to visit us every few moths, sometimes we flew to them, but less and less with each year passed. Elijah treated me meanly and with superiority, but despite that, he really impressed me, and I wanted to be just like him. When he turned eighteen and started CyberLife with his teacher, Amanda, he stopped coming altogether, sometimes only our mother showed up. - Connor a shiver running through him at the sound of the familiar name. He did know that this specific woman didn't do anything to him, but the name of the program in his mind carried too many of traumatizing memories.Well, she used to, until the day we decided to surprise her and discovered that she had a lover on the side and was living a double life. The guy was also surprised when he saw us, there's no denying! - Kamska kept on. The android had a feeling that there was irony and cynicism circulating in her veins instead of a blood. It was a person who was intelligent as hell, cold, sceptical and devoid of faith in anybody or anything, so was her brother but unlike him, she was direct, honest to the bone and full of truth that was stripped of ornaments. The boy was watching her and couldn't notice any traces of lie. If she told them an untruth, she was a perfect actress.
