I had one job

The plan was simple. I was about to focus on the mystery and add at somepoint of the chapter some Christmas thing.

Well, it came unstuck eminently. It's festive to the core and the chapter turned out to be long, so that later don't say I didn't warn. Because of that occasion, there's no list of the songs, just turn on your favorite Christmas playlist to beat yourself more with the vibe.

Hope you're going to have fun at least as good as I when writing, sorry for this circus! ;D

Connor was coming back from the 24-hour store with breakfast items and a supply of coffee that had just run out. It was a little before six a.m. The sun still hadn't risen, but the darkness of the night slowly started turning into pleasant gray shades. He enjoyed that moment before dusk, a moment of suspension between day and night. Sometimes it seemed to him that he was out of the time.

He received a messege.

- ,, Good morning "

He smiled gently. ChloeApparently, it was just a simple greeting but it made him a bit happier. Everywhere he looked, there was Christmas decorations. There was barely a week until Christmas. From the beginning of the month, they had been trying to get more information about Aaron Trembley, the owner of the club in the city. They didn't want to go in immediately, especially since it was very expensive and elite, not everyone was acceptable there. If you wanted to get in, you were supposed to have a certain social position, and every new face was noticed really quickly. They needed to discern the subject first.

-,, Good morning. " - he answered.

-,, What are you doing?"

-,, I'm coming back from the shopping."

-,, It's still dark, Connor, it's dangerous"

-,, How can you be sure I'm by myself?"

-,, Very funny. Be careful."

He smiled again. The girl slightly managed to find out something about the Lieutenant's habits, and she was aware that the odds of the Lieutenant going shopping at five were absolutely zero.

- Bloody hell, Markus, it won't work out! - he unexpectefly managed to hear from the narrow street next to him. The boy revived and rushed there. He knew that grumpy, slightly biting, yet pleasant for an ear voice.

-A little optimism, Josh! - said somebody else, definitely more cheerful.

Soon, the boy's eyes met three characters. Markus, Josh and Simon, putting to the car trunk a... tree.

- What's happening? - Connor asked, surprised and unsure of what he saw.

- Connor! - Markus got pleased, turning around and then, he shock his hand. I asked the boys for help because Simon has a car and I don't haveone yet. I still don't have time to look for one. And only now do we have a chance for relative peace and quiet.

- You celebrate holidays? - he asked unsurely. For the androids, things looked really different. Most of them weren't religious, disregarding many exceptions from that rule, and not all of them decided to celebrate various human celebrations. The androids working in humans house before the revolutions, having had the opportunity to watch their traditions were definitely more willing to making such moves.

- We wanna try. Last year, everything was upside down, and it didn't come to anyone's mind to even consider it, we were fresh from the revolution, you remember anyway.

- Mhm. - the boy confirmed with nod and then, took a look on Josh - Why do you think it's a bad idea.

- Because if that Christmas Eve takes place, not to even mention Christmas dinner, it will be a great chaos! Within the first hour a few good relationships gonna break down, expectially the certain one, a few strong friendships and then, we all are gonna kill one another.
