This is a Luxsoka story!!!

(And no I'm not a huge shipper of them but... I thought it would be cute to write about.)

Ahsoka Tano stepped off the Republic transport, the warm Onderon breeze breathing against her skin. She walked off further, crouching down to run her fingers against the wispy grass. It had been ages since the Padawan had seen real nature. Coruscant wasn't much of a green planet and the Resolute is in the middle of space. Ahsoka sighed and stood up.

"Ahsoka!" Anakin yelled, running over to stand next to his Padawan. "You ran off."

"It's beautiful here master." Ahsoka breathed, her eyes sparkling as she took in the wildlife around her.

Anakin placed a hand on Ahsoka's shoulder. "It is, Snips. But we have to go, Senator Bonteri is expecting us."

"Then I guess we better get going." The Torgurta sighed, leaning into her master's shoulder as he led her into another transport.

"They definitely haven't spared a cent". Anakin whispered into Ahsoka's ear. "This place looks fancier than what I remember."

Ahsoka laughed as she took in the building looming before them. The yellow and blue bricks of the palace had been decorated with beautiful tapestries, marking the day of the rebellion. The soft breeze making them look even more elegant.

"But you have to admit it's beautiful." Ahsoka said, whispering back.

Anakin sighed but didn't argue. The sight was truly breathtaking.

They arrived shortly at the big palace doors. There were two Onderon guards waiting to greet them.

"Welcome to Onderon. The King has been expecting your arrival." One of the guards said, opening the door slightly to let them inside. "Senator Bonteri, General Gerrera, and King Dendup will be waiting for you in the throne room."

"General?" Ahsoka said leaning in towards Anakin.

Anakin just shrugged his shoulders. "It's been a while since we've been here."

Ahsoka nodded slightly then followed her master through the palace doors. Somehow the palace was even bigger on the inside, with chandeliers lining the tall ceilings and tapestries hanging from every other wall. The way the light shone through the windows was absolutely stunning.

"Commander Tano, General Skywalker." Senator Bonteri said, nodding in acknowledgement.

Ahsoka blinked a couple times, clearing her head from her trance. "Senator Bonteri. How nice to see you again."

"And General Gerrera," Anakin said, "my congratulations on your promotion."

"Thank you Master Jedi." Steela said, smiling. "We are honored to have you two here."

"Please send Captain Rex and General Kenobi our best wishes." Lux added.

Ahsoka smiled. Even though she missed her grandmaster and Captain's presences she was happy to get some alone time with Anakin. And Lux.

The Padawan quickly shook her head, ridding her mind of those atrocious thoughts. What was she thinking? Jedi can't love.

"Ahsoka, what's wrong?" Anakin asked, his voice echoing through their force bond.

"Oh, nothing. I just spaced off, sorry." Ahsoka replied, quickly tightening up her shields.

"Is everything alright, General Skywalker?" The King asked, standing up from his red throne. "We lost you and the Commander there for a second."
