I'm back!! I hope everyone had a very good holiday! (whether it was Christmas or something else) I'm still on my break so I have a lot of free time to write. :)
I've always wondered what it would be like if Ahsoka met Trace while she was still apart of the Order.
I hope you like it!
Ahsoka screeched as she lost control of her speeder, barreling down further into the lower levels of Coruscant.
She quickly pressed down on the brake pedal and yanked the steering controls to the right. With luck, the Torgurta was aiming for a small docking bay connected to a shop and she was praying they had some sort of mechanical tools she could use.
Suddenly, a loud voice interrupted her thoughts; washing over her comm.
"Ahsoka!" Anakin yelled, "what happened? Are you ok?"
Ahsoka yanked her sleeve to her face all while still keeping control of the broken speeder. "Everything's fine, master." She grunted, and shifted her white-knuckled fingers on the controls. "Just having some speeder problems."
"Do you need my help?"
"No, I'm aiming for this shop and hopefully they have some mechanical tools I can use."
Anakin grunted over the comm. "Kriff, this guy is fast, Snips."
"Wish I could help, master."
"Me too." Anakin said, laughing into the comm. "Are you sure you don't need my help?"
"Positive."
"Ok se-
"Anakin?" Ahsoka yelled into the comm, "are you there?"
She huffed. The signal must have been jammed. She moved her grip on the spongy handlebars and pressed her foot tighter against the brake pedal. The speeder puffed another billow of smoke out of the engines before plummeting straight towards the docking bay.
"Kriff!" Ahsoka screamed, slamming her feet harder into the brakes.
It didn't help. The speeder just went faster, the nose turning directly towards the metal platform. Her monstrals were ringing from the loud noises coming from the speeder and the pedestrians screaming profanities at her was definitely not helping.
"Watch out!" Ahsoka yelled, hurtling towards the docking bay. She wasn't sure if anyone was out there but she wanted to make sure.
The last thing she needed was for another innocent life to be lost. Especially one from her own hands.
Ahsoka praised the force that no one was on the bay as her speeder's nose crashed into the metal. The Torgurta was whacked out of the speeder's seat and thrown onto the hard metal floor. The speeder coughed up a couple more billows of ashy smoke before going completely silent.
The Jedi stood groaning, her head was aching from the landing and her wrist was slightly swollen. Ahsoka rubbed a hand down her face, great, a sprained wrist and a broken speeder. Could things get any worse?
Ahsoka bent down and examined her broken speeder bike. The repulsorlift engine was broken as well as the attitude controls, so that explained the sudden loss of elevation. The Torgruta sighed and stood up, she was not looking forward to fixing it. Maybe Anakin would help her, then it would go much faster. But she would have to find him first or fix her comm...
"Karking e chu ta!" Ahoska cursed in huttese; courtesy of her master. "This kriffing bike!"
"Woah, woah easy."
