Show of Power

Shadow glared at the man who seemed to find it amusing. "What kind of insignificant bug attacks a dragon's domain?" The man started giggling until he noticed Shadow's hand was twitching. "I'm Maki Otsutsuki." Shadow stopped what he was doing and he looked at the man. "Impossible I'm the only one around here with that last name." Maki giggled again before showing off his true form. The man's horn grew as did another one that curved upwards. His eyes turned red with blue spirals in them and the mark stretched a crossed his face to form a mask. "Your mother created me just before being sealed by your brothers. She wanted us to get along since you were always the one who listened to her." Shadow saw the man smirk before appearing in front of him. Shadow just looked at the man. "I don't want to fight." Shadow snorted before grabbing the man by his throat catching him by surprise. "You should've thought of that before attacking my home." Shadow crushed the man's throat and dropped his body. Maki caught himself then fixed his throat. "So scary but nothing to worry about." Shadow tilted his head just as a seal formed on the man's throat which he felt. "What was that? Your nothing but an insignificant bug in the presence of a dragon. That seal will kill you if you attack either of my homes or the people inside both." Shadow suddenly showed up in Maki's face and punched him as hard as he could in the stomach causing the ground behind Maki to explode and for Maki to vomit blood all over his arm. "That's for thinking I would ever treat you as an equal." Maki looked up at Shadow's face to see the man staring at him with an incredible amount of bloodlust in those eyes. Shadow watched Maki jump away from him but he snapped his fingers and Maki lost his right arm. Maki just looked at it before staring at Shadow. "W what power is this?" Shadow just walked towards Maki before chakra coated his entire arm before a purple flame erupted out of Shadow's arm burning away his cloak. Maki saw the strange symbols decorating Shadow's body were glowing. "A long time ago a child was born to the mother of chakra. This boy was the third son and was treated like the other two were. Until one day in his teen years the boy began exhibiting power and strength unlike anything the mother had seen. Scared for her child the mother performed a ritual that sealed away his power and for a time it worked. But soon the mother was sealed away and with that the seals began to degrade. Fearing for the safety of his family and friends the now man wanted his powers sealed again. So he had his brothers seal them away." Maki noticed the symbols began to fade and the purple flame grew in size. "For a time the man was ok because his sealed strength was still great enough to protect those he cherished. Now fast forward to the present and imagine his surprise when a bug dared attack the home of a dragon. What do you think that man would do?" Maki noticed Shadow's eyes began to change until both held a fusion of the two designs. "What do you think would happen Maki?" Shadow raised his free hand and Maki was flung towards Shadow who caught him by the throat. "The man would destroy the bug and anyone else who threatens his life?" Maki saw the small smirk before Shadow looked behind him to see Obito and a man with orange hair. The man had Madara's Rinnegan and had chakra piercings in his nose. "So you are the one who brought this bug to me?" Obito nodded and Shadow dropped Maki before looking at the unknown man. "This is Pain." Shadow nodded to Pain who kept watching him. "You can't fool me by the way I know this isn't your real body." Pain narrowed his eyes. "Shadow do you plan on stopping us?" Shadow looked at Obito then at Maki. "If you dare attack my family and friends then yes. I told you I need you to succeed in your plans for mine to be completed. But that doesn't mean I will let you ruin my life." Shadow looked at Maki who was rubbing his gut. "If you send anymore of your thugs to my home Madara I'll be coming for you personally." Shadow kept staring at Maki as he revealed his Perfect Susano'o. The ultimate defense now had six arms the lower set had its scythe. The middle set were weaving signs while the top set had Yasaka Beads in its left hand while in its right was a strange symbol. The three opposing Shadow were tense as they've never seen this kind of power before. Shadow just kept staring at Maki. "If you are suppose to be the thing that opposes me then this is the bare minimum of what you should be able to do." Shadow saw Maki just watching him in terror and after a few more seconds he turned his head to face Obito. "You were once my friend and I regret failing you back then. But know this I am Shadow Otsutsuki first and with that I have an obligation to protect the world my brothers sacrificed so much for. Which means I will be watching your group very closely and if I sense any ill will towards the Leaf or my people you will all die." Shadow watched them leave and after a few seconds the Susano'o faded away then Shadow started walking back home. He got back to his compound and informed those inside to watch for a group wearing a black cloak with a red cloud on it. After that Shadow teleported back to the Leaf just in time to see it was morning so he went to meet his squad. After getting yelled at by Sakura and Naruto Kakashi handed Shadow a couple of bells. Shadow chuckled before placing them around his left wrist. After Kakashi explained the test and answered questions the Genin looked at Shadow who smiled at them. "Good luck you three." Shadow heard Kakashi say begin and Shadow watched as the three looked at him before Naruto ran at him. "Idiot." Shadow looked to see Sasuke running after Naruto. Shadow just chuckled thinking back to Kakashi and Obito. Shadow teleported behind Sakura making the boys gasp while Shadow smiled at Sakura. "You need to fight too Sakura. Don't leave it all to the boys yea?" When she nodded Shadow smiled before looking back at the boys. "I'll give you a hint since I'm your opponent. There's a reason we are a squad." Shadow noticed Sakura catch on and she was forming a plan. "Seems the young lady got it." Shadow turned to the boys and walked to them. "Well do you guys understand?" Shadow saw the two boys look at each other before he ducked under a strike from Sakura who had lunged at him. "Damn it I thought I could get you from your blind spot." Shadow just giggled before shaking his head. "Not a bad idea but I have no blind spots Sakura." Shadow grinned when Sakura told them what she thought was the point of this exercise and it seems the boys believed her. Shadow smiled when the three started talking strategy and he glanced at Kakashi who was nodding with a smile. "Alright! Your going down Shadow!" Shadow smirked hearing Naruto and he got in a stance with his right hand raised in front of him. "Well come on then!" The three started their plan by having Naruto create shadow clones and Shadow noticed Sasuke's chakra vanished which made him smirk. Shadow placed his hands in his pockets before bending backwards to avoid a clone of Naruto then he kicked it away sending it flying into Sasuke who had gotten behind him. Shadow stood up and he jumped as Sakura tried to hit him. "Now Naruto!" Shadow glanced to where Naruto was and he threw a kunai at him. Shadow grinned before catching it between his teeth. When he landed the Genin looked at him before gasping when they see the knife in between Shadow's teeth. Shadow shattered it by biting down on it before smiling at the three. "Well seems you guys did good." Shadow looked at Kakashi who started walking to them. "You guys did great nobody before you had managed to pass the test even with Shadow giving them a hint. Tomorrow we start our missions as the new Team 7." Shadow smiled before motioning for the two Nine Tails to come closer. "Malakai I want you to join Team 7 in my place." The fox nodded and walked up to Naruto who got excited. "Relax brat we are in public." Shadow chuckled knowing what he meant. At Naruto's house Malakai and Naruto were inseparable. "Kakashi I'm going to go report in to Minato." Shadow waved then walked to Minato's office. "Why did you have Malakai stay with Naruto?" Shadow looked at Kurama. "Because it seems I have one more relative still around and he's joined a group that wants to destroy the world." Kurama looked at Shadow in shock. "So that's why you left last night." Shadow nodded.
