My family is gathered in the large field full of weeping willows outside the palace. My parents are snuggled up together on their own blanket in the shade of one of the trees. Astra, Emily, and Astra's new husband, Aiden, sit on another. Quinn and Teegan are also on their own blanket with their families. Flynn's parents sit near their daughters. Charles and Coen sit in the middle of the cluster of blankets.

Flynn's arms wrap around my waist and pull me closer to him. He places a whisper of a kiss on my forehead and then he stands up to leave me alone.

We've been married for three years now. My father just deemed us ready to be King and Queen. In only three months, the country will no longer look up to my mother and father, but to my husband and me.

Flynn walks over to his sister's and mumbles something. They both smile and nod. Their children stand up and begin chasing Flynn.

I smile and watch them run around the field. Their giggles and silly screams make me sure that this was the right decision; we're ready for this.

When Flynn finally returns to the blanket, his breathing is heavy and his face is red. He collapses on his back and sprawls his arms out to the side.

"You need to exercise more," I comment. He chuckles and shakes his head.

"I sincerely apologize, Princess Celia, that I am not as physically fit as several children. I do believe that all those long hours in the office are to blame, though," he says. I giggle. He sits up and wraps his arms around me. I crinkle my nose at the moisture clinging to his clothes.

"You're sweaty," I state. He chuckles and shakes his head.

"I apologize that my body had to find a way to cool down," he replies. I roll my eyes, stand up, and hold my hands out for him.

"Come on, we're taking a walk," I inform him. He shakes his head and pats the ground next to him.

"Come on, silly," I say. He gives a dramatic sigh and stands up. He takes my hand and we walk together into the jungle of weeping willows.

"So, what was the need to for this very special walk?" Flynn asks. I look over at him and smile.

"I don't know. . . I think I just wanted to be out here and it just be the two of us," I explain.

"Our families can still see us," he says. I nod in agreement but still shrug.

"Yeah, but they can't hear us," I reply as we reach the side of willows that are the furthest from the palace, which means it is also the hardest for my family to see us.

"Well, I guess these trees are sound proof," Flynn says. I roll my eyes.

"Yeah, I'm sure they are. . . You're really good with your nieces and nephews," I tell him. He smiles and shrugs.

"Last time I checked they were technically your niece and nephew, too," Flynn says. I roll my eyes.

"True, but you're still good with them," I reply. He smiles.

"Why thank you," he says. I shrug.

"You still need a little improvement, though," I tell him.

"Oh, really?" Flynn asks. I nod.

"Oh, yeah. And you don't have but about seven and a half months," I add. His eyebrows raise.

"What do you mean?" He asks.

"Oh, that's right. You don't know yet," I say. His eyebrows seem to move up even higher.

"I don't know what yet?" he asks.

"We're getting a baby alien in seven and a half months," I tell him casually. He walks over to me and puts his hands on my sides.

"Celia? Are we. . ." He asks. I smile and nod.

"We are," I answer. He gasps and wraps his arms around me.

"We're going to be parents?" He asks. I nod.

"We are," I tell him.

I wrote this chapter like when I wrote then first chapter. It makes me really really happy. Please comment and vote!
