Four days...three hours...two minutes...one second
That's how long its been since Serena was dubbed to be in a coma. Arthur didn't once ever leave her side, he held her hand in hopes that she would wake up. Arthur wanted to be there for her when she came to it...if she did. No, he had to keep a positive look on things, two days ago her father came to visit her, he was disappointed in seeing his loving daughter in the hospital and in a coma because of her younger sister. But he knew that Alice and Serena didn't get along with one another. So with that in mind, her father knew that once Serena got out of the hospital that her siblings would start to treat her wrong all over again. Arthur was given the address to where the two of them would live with him as he had moved Serena's things into his apartment. Knowing that if his love came back from her coma that she would be stress free from her siblings he was slightly happy to hear it. One thing got to him though...
Why where her siblings acting the way they did? What triggered their abuse on her?
He'd have to ask her once...if she got up. He closed his eyes and frowned as he held her hand tighter. "Love, I won't ever give up on you. I love you and only you. Your siblings may not see the bright good side to you, but I do and I want to keep seeing that side to you. I want to be able to see you smile at me again. I want to hear you laugh and want you to know what its like to be loved and wanted somewhere...By me."
He didn't hear anything from her so he placed his head down on the bed as he cried, he didn't want to lose someone he cared about again. He didn't want that feeling again. He refused to give up on her, he refused to give in to the fact that she was gone for good.
"A-Art...hur.."She said weakly after a few minutes of silence.
Arthur looked up to her in shock before he stood up quickly making the chair he was in go on to its back side before he kissed her passionately on the lips. "My god Serena...D-Don't you dare scare me like that again!...I...I...I swore I lost you!" He said softly as he pressed his forehead against hers.
She teared up slightly as she held his hand tightly. "I...I didn't mean to. H-Honestly...up to about a few moments ago I didn't hear or feel anything. I heard what you said, I...I wanted to say something back. B-But my body didn't respond to me."
He gave her a sad smile before he kissed her again. "I'm glad you heard it, I meant every damn bloody word I said Serena."
"I-It'll be possible once I'm out of here."
"I know, which reminds me. I need to get the nurse. I'll be back once she is done checking up on you."
Serena nodded her head with a smile. "A-Alright Arthur. I...I love you."
"I love you too Serena. I'm very happy to see you awake again."
She blushed and gave him a genuine smile. "I-I'm happy to be back here...b-because of you Arthur."
Then it was his turn to blush before he kissed her softly on the lips. "I'll be back soon I promise."
"Okay."
He then left and the nurse came into the room only to check on the wound on her head as well as her leg. Since they were both healed and she didn't suffer amnesia, plus she could walk properly after a few tries she was able to leave. Which she did once she saw Arthur again, he had a teddy bear and a rose for her. She hugged him tightly and kissed him passionately as she smiled at him.
"Love lets get you home."
She Froze. "Y-You mean back to the hell hounds?"
He chuckled and smiled. "No I mean where your father lives love."
She looked to him shocked. "O-Oh."
He handed the rose and bear to her only for her to thank him and hug the bear tightly as she sat within the passenger seat of a rental car. Once Arthur had gotten her to the apartment her father was already at the house and she rushed in and tackled hug her father only to scare him. Which made her laugh and smile at the reaction of her father, hearing Serena laugh Arthur just watched with a small smile on his face.
