Patience bears sweet fruit,
Don't try to console by saying so.
Do you forget I don't like sweets?
Maybe that's why bitterness lingers in my words.
Left empty-handed, with or without patience.

Sabr ka phall meetha hota hai,
Humme ye keh ke behlane ki koshish na kar,
Tujhe ye bhi nahi yaad ke humme meetha pasand hi nahi?
Shayad islye humari zubaan par karwahatt rehti hai,
Hum to khaali haath hi reh gaye na, sabr ke saath, aur sabr ke behgair bhi.
