     September 2017. Four Months Later.

September was a very important month for us demons as I came to know thanks to Gaia. At the end of the month on September 27, the "Ολυμπιακοί Αγώνες," also known as the "Olympics" would be held.

Once a year, all assassin demons meet up in the Underworld's arena to compete against the other teams. Only one team could win out of all of us, and that team would be rewarded with a two-day vacation. And because we did not get any vacation days, this was a big event and everyone participating in will be very competitive.

"You never won?! So, you've gone like two-hundred years without resting from work?" Surprised, I asked Ajax.

He shook his head, "None of us have ever won... Which is why this year with the Princess, we are confident that we are going to win!" He already had expectations for me, and it put some pressure on me to try to win, if I didn't, he would be disappointed in me.

I pointed at myself, "Me? Why? This is my first time competing and also, I'm not good at any of these..." I looked at a list Ajax had given me before walking with the team to the gym. The list stated all the things I had to train for in order to even have a chance at winning.

     "Maybe, maybe not."

Gaia poked her head from the hallway, "Maybe your father will give you the win." She then walked into my room and stood next to Ajax.

I turned to her, "I hope not. I want to win fairly." Reading the list and doing the math I realized, "This training is all day!" It was overwhelming how many things I needed to train for and how long it would take. Not only did it state the activity, but it also stated at what level we should be at once the Olympics take place.

"Of course, it is. We need to train like never before, and the week before Ολυμπιακοί Αγώνες we will be resting and eating lots of carbs to get energy." Ajax grabbed the list, "Two hours non-stop cardio, lifting two hundred plus pounds, rock climbing, swimming, rowing, skating, and fighting."

I stared at him shocked, in fine print all of them stated that each time we trained, our scores had to get better. "Fuck that, I can't do all that. My body will exhaust, and you'll have to carry me back home."

"That's the whole point!" Gaia exclaimed with a bright smile on her face which I would normally find cute but seeing it now did not lift my mood. "We will crawl back home!" She hugged me then Ajax, leaving my room and hurrying us over to the gym.

Ajax told me that worrying about this would not help me succeed and to instead focus my brain on becoming motivated to work. I nodded worriedly and followed along, kissing Morpheus goodbye after feeding him.

"Woah..." Scanning the room I could not see anything except demons walking, training, and overall, just blocking everything in sight. There were only heads and hairs exposed, no equipment, no empty pathways, no walls, or floors could be seen.

Ajax and Rhea disappeared into the crowd together and I was left by myself. Making my way through the crowd I found an empty rock-climbing wall and I walked up to it, taking it for myself. After finding the harness and securing it around my waist and legs, I tried to find my footing. Once I did, I pressed the button to start the timer and off I went. Finding a long and thin rock, I grabbed on and pulled my way higher. This was my first time rock climbing and so I was slow and felt my way around what rock I felt comfortable grabbing.

I almost lost balance but was able to put my right foot on a small and bulky rock. I looked up, hoping that somehow, I was almost at the top, but I wasn't, ten feet of rocks scattered across looked back at me. Sighing, I continued until I made it to the top and pressed the button. Thirty-minutes and fifty seconds was my time.
