Thirty Three: Hanging Out {Part 1: A Stroll with Sora and Cloud}

MK's POV:

I was walking down to the City's Park to meet with Sora, Cloud, and Pythra. I felt my phone buzzing and answered it, "Hello?" I started, "MK, I have a question." It was Lucina. "What's your question?" I asked. "By any chance when we were at the park the other night and you were spacing out, did you see anything?" She asks me. I was wondering what she was talking about, "Wait, what do you mean?" I asked her and I can hear her struggling to make up her own words, "It's hard to explain. But I hope you have fun with Sora, Cloud, and Pythra!" She replies. "I will Lucy." "Alright! Bye MK!" She tells me. "Bye Lucina." I ended the call. My phone started glowing, a black fog was circling around it. "What the-"

The fog disappears and it was normal. "I..." I couldn't believe what I heard or saw at all.

It was quiet until I hear someone calling my name, "MK!" I looked up to see Sora and Cloud walking up to me. Sora gives me a freshly made breakfast sandwich with a cup of hot chocolate. "Thanks guys." I thanked them. "No problem MK." Cloud replies to me. "Where's Pythra?" I asked them. "Pythra said that's she's actually going to meet us at a Stadium Terry owns." Cloud tells me. "That being?" I asked again. "The one and only King of Fighters Stadium!" Sora cheers with excitement. Without much hesitation or warning he drags me to what I can assume is the direction to the stadium. "Hey wait up!" Cloud yells as I see him trying to catch up with us.

A couple of minutes passed, I had just finished my breakfast sandwich and I started a conversation, "Hey Sora, Cloud," "Yeah?" They stared at me. "I... I want you to say sorry for attacking you guys the other day..." I sighed. We halted our walk. I could see the judgement in Cloud's eyes and the pure terror in Sora's face. "I want to apologize especially to-" I was cut off when Cloud speaks up, "Especially to Sora." I took a few steps since I felt extremely intimidated. "I-I mean it! Seriously! Sora, Cloud, I am really sorry for the stunt I pulled on against everyone." I see Sora being more calm after I said it. "T-thanks MK. We kinda understand it wasn't fully your fault." Sora speaks up. Sora forgives me but Cloud on the other hand however, "Though I understand where you're coming from, I won't forgive you that easily." He tells me. "I know you wouldn't forgive me Cloud. Possibly never..." I walked away from them and closer to the stadium.

So much guilt was running throughout my body. I stared at the door and I felt someone grabbing my shoulder, "MK," it was Sora, "you don't have to worry about Cloud. He isn't the type of person to forgive others easily." Cloud buts in, "That's mostly true. But that's because I usually force others out of my life. Besides well, Sora and Tifa. But that basically changed when I met Lucina, Link, Zelda, and Pythra. It wasn't the best first encounter. It was basically a one versus four- or well technically six if you count the other two personalities in Pythra." I stared at him, "Did they overwhelmed you?" "No actually. Took them all down." I glanced at Sora, "That's a true story actually. Ask them about that and they'll confirm it." I looked back at Cloud, "So, how did you guys became friends?" I asked him, "It was rather simple, all because of Rob." I heard the anger in his voice. "What do you mean by that?" I asked again.

"All it took was a bad tournament match. When it was a match between Sora and Rob, all I saw was a brutal beat down. He was bruised up, bloody, crying. So much crying." Cloud punched the wall leaving a little hole. "I just wanted to break every last bone in his body. But before I could even do anything about it, they all stopped me. Lucina, Link, and Zelda failed to stop me. Pythra on the other hand was a completely different especially compared since we've first fought. She was the only one to put me in my place. Pythra did talked me out of it from fighting Rob. I mean if she was able to put me down in my place I couldn't imagine what Rob would've done to me."

"But, after that?"

"After that I did slowly got attached with them, the same applies with Sora. We hanged out with them more often. It was the summer time during this year is when I've finally became friends with them. MK, it might be a while for our status to be solidified but I'm certain I'll fully trust you." Cloud pats my back. It was all quiet until the door opens. "Okay who just punched a hole in the wall?!" It's Terry Bogard! Cloud immediately apologizes, "S-sorry about that Mr. Bogard!" Sora rushes up to him, "T-Terry! We're here because Pythra wants to hang out here with MK!" "MK? Who are they?" Terry asks.

I step up and spoke to him, "T-that'll be me Mr. Bogard." He looks down at me, "Well aren't you new here?" He asks me and I simply nodded. "Well come on in everyone!" We all walked in and to the main fighting stage. "Alright MK so meanwhile we wait for Pythra to come, how about we spar." Cloud steps into the middle, summoning his Buster Sword. I stepped into the center and summoned my Galaxia. 'You're on Cloud!' I told him in sign language.
