After escaping the crowds, Marty and Jamie wandered down the outside corridors. Seeing they were alone and safe, Marty pulled out his walkie-talkie to let Doc know they had retrieved the book.

"Doc Success, we got it," Marty radioed over to him.

"Great, Marty," Doc said in response.

"As soon as I reload the fusion generator, I'll meet you both on the roof of the high school gym," Doc instructed them.

"On the roof, 10-4." "Copy that, Doc," Both Marty and Jamie said.

Turning to the corner, they were met by Biff's goons, who recognized them through their horrible disguises.

"Hey, It's them!" One goon said.

"Hey, there in disguise," Another goon said, pointing out the obvious see-through disguises.

"Guys, what's that?" Marty pointed out, causing the whole gang to turn to where he was looking. This allowed him and Jamie to strike them down to the ground like they were bowling pins again.

"So much for an inconspicuous disguise!" Jamie sarcastically said. The two began running away as fast as they could from the goons who began chasing their tails to the gymnasium.

Quickly running into the gymnasium to be met with the sound of Earth Angel playing. They looked over and saw Lorraine hugging George as he waved over to the other Marty, who was waving his hand back at him, presumably wiggling his fingers after almost being erased but saved thanks to George kissing his future wife. The other Jamie, who was on stage with Marty, stood up from the ground and hid back in the wings. The song was coming to a sweet and gentle end as both boys watched proudly at George McFly kissing Lorraine.

Their ears jumped once they heard rattling from the gymnasium doors. They soon open up, followed by Biff's goons running into the dance hall, causing Marty and Jamie to hide under a table covered with decorations to evade them. Marty dropped his hat for a second before quickly snatching it back. The goons looked to the stage, seeing the Other Marty in the center of the stage, not noticing them.

"Look, how did he get up on stage?!" A goon pointed out. They watched the other Marty walk offstage before bringing the other Jamie onstage straight to the microphone.

"And there's his friend! When they get down, we're gonna nail them," Another goon explained.

"How the hell did they change their clothes so fast?" The last goon asked, confused before they stomped across the dance floor and to a back door. They disappeared out of sight, and where they were heading was leading them to the stage where Jamie and Marty's other selves were performing.

The boys watched in fear, knowing that they were screwed if Biff's goons managed to jump on their other selves. They had to think of something fast and quick to prevent it.

Johnny B. Goode's first guitar chords, courtesy of the other Marty, began playing, followed by the band, and everyone started to dance around the gym.

"Doc, Doc, come in!" Marty channeled over to Doc on his walkie while Jamie tried to keep an eye out.

"Marty, Come in," Doc responded.

"Listen, Biff's guys chased us into the gym, and they're gonna jump...Us," Marty pointed out, unsure of how to explain the last part.

"Then get out of there," Doc said, not understanding what he truly meant.

"No, Doc, not us, the other us, the other me and Jamie playing Johnny B Goode," Marty explained clearly. They both looked at the stage and saw their other selves. The other Jamie began singing, growing his confidence in performing in front of a crowd, while the other Marty was jamming out playing the guitar.
