Next morning

Blake's pov

I just woke up with an extremely headache. I slowly stood up from my bed and walked towards my closet.

As I was dressing myself I remembered everything that happened.

Shit. I got into a fight. Gigi kissed me. Belly kissed a boy. The police dropped us home. Laurel pissed at us. Lastly, why Conrad has been distance these past months. My suspicions were right, it was about our mother and it coming back.

I sighed.

I took some aspirin with me and went out to the beach right near my house, to clear my head.

3rd pov

Blake has been sitting at the beach for some time now. Just enjoying the sun coming up, even though he was extremely hangover, that still didn't stop him from smoking.

''hi'', a voice said behind him. He didn't need to turn around to know it was the Conklin girl.

She noticed, but still sat beside him.

''how are you?''. He didn't meet her gaze, but still responded. All Blake wanted to say to the girl, was that he wasn't fine. He was far from fine. From being pressured from his father, now to clarification out about his mother. Then to his feelings for the girl.

Instead of telling her all he lied. ''I'm fine Belly''.

He looked to her and saw her eye starting to get bruise. ''you know you might get a black eye tomorrow. Everyone will notice that Bells''.

''well, it's already tomorrow. Maybe it won't be that bad''. He was about to say something, but words didn't come out. So, he looked from Belly back to the sun that were starting to rise.

Belly sighed at the boy's eyes wasn't on her anymore. ''do-do you like remember anything that happened last night? I mean you were pretty wasted''. The boy slowly nods, still his gaze was not on Belly.

''I uh remember mostly, but some are still in pieces'', the boy lied. He took a puff from the blunt. ''can-can I get a puff?'', the Conklin girl asked. The boy turned immediately at her side. Seeing if it was a test or a joke, but all he saw was that the girl was serious.

He raised a brow at her. ''no Belly. Not a chance''. The girl rolled her eyes. ''come on Blake''. ''no''. ''yes''. ''no''. ''yes''.

''you want your mother to murder me? She would literally if she knew I'd let you smoke''. Belly furrowed her brows in a challenging manner. ''fine if I can't smoke, neither can you''. ''who are you, my gir...'', he stopped himself. Belly caught up to what he was about to say, she suddenly became a little nervous.

''I mean. Same old Belly. Always want people to be on their best behaviour, or at least be healthy''.

Belly's face changed as she remembered what he whispered in her ears last night. ''uh, what did you mean by when you said to me he isn't worthy of me''.

Blake gulped at that, taking his gaze back forward. ''oh, did I say that? Sorry Bells I don't remember that part'', he lied. Belly's face fell at those word. She hoped it was a reason behind it, but for her it didn't look like it.

''oh, okay. Yeah you were pretty drunk last night, so I understand''. The girl started to fiddle with her hands.

Blake ran a hand through his brown wavy hair. He tore his gaze away and looked at the Conklin girl. ''you wanna go and get some donuts or something before everyone else gets up?''.

Belly was about to say yes, but remembered she was going to meet Cam. She stood up and looked at the Fisher boy. ''I would love to Blake, but I actually can't. I have somewhere to be''.

The Fisher boy knew it was probably with Cam. He wanted to tell her to not go and to be with him, but he didn't.

He nods. ''uh, yeah sure I understand. Raincheck or something'', he tried to smile the pain away. Belly nods. ''raincheck''.

Belly walked away and Blake's eyes followed as she did. He watched as she was out of reach.

He had so many emotions at one. He just wished he could forget, but he can't and he won't. You know what they say. What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.
