Blake was in the club and done preforming for the comity.

''hm okay we need to discuss which song, but I think we're going with the second you played. What was the name again?'', a woman on the comity asked. ''worth it all by Jay Sean, but I don't know why that song was on the list. It's a little sad. I mean he sings about a girl that she's worth it all even tho both of them have flaws'', Blake explained.

Cheryl sighs. ''to be honest I don't know half of these songs. My daughter made that list for me. She says it has a beautiful meaning. Also that it may be a good fit for the ball''. Blake scoffs. ''yeah about love. I don't think love songs fit into a deb ball. I mean it's after all the girls going from girl and to a woman or something''.

Cheryl frowns at the boy, but an idea popped into her head. ''your mother told me you write songs sometimes, what about those?''. Blake instantly turns that down. ''no. I'm sorry Cheryl, but they're personal and I'm not even finished. Also they are kind of about love, one sided tho. So, don't think they have a place in there''.

The other woman besides Cheryl let her shoulder slump in defeat. ''right. Anyone have something then?''. ''what about a classic love song? Like i'm a deb girl and I think a classic love song is something that feels right'', Gigi spoke from the door frame. ''what are you thinking about Gigi?''. Blake looked at the girl. ''well, as we know. There are many songs out there, but like people have their favourites. All the girls loves a love song. So, why don't we just play a love song then? It may not like a regular deb ball song like Blake said, but that's what's fun about it. We don't need the old stuff, but new ones. We are after all in the year 2000s and not the seventies''.

Cheryl nods in agreement. ''alright that's settled then a love song it is, but what kind? Just like you said there is many out there''. Gigi took her gaze to Blake. ''Blake what about one of your songs? I think they'll be a great fit as it's an original''. The Fisher boy sighs. ''It's not finished and it's more of a sad songs I have. I don't think it is for a deb at all'', he declined.

Gigi nods. ''then either way we do a love song. It is after all right before the deb girls dance with their escorts, and for some those escorts means deeply to the girls. They ask who they like or are together with. Therefore, a love song would be just as great. In my case I don't feel anything for my escort, just wanted to clear that up'', she directed the last part to Blake.

''Gigi is right. A love song is what we should do. What are your thoughts Gigi?''. Gigi smiles. ''since Blake doesn't want to sing his, then I think one time by Justin Bieber. I think that will be the best one. I mean a Bieber song never goes wrong and that is just the right one. If you don't have any other suggestions of course mrs Klove''.

Blake runes a hand through his hair. ''great Justin Bieber'', the boy mutters for himself. Cheryl noticed and rolls her eyes at his low enthusiasm. ''suck it up mr Fisher. One time by Justin Bieber it is. Now we just need to figure what song to use at the actual dance between the girls and their escort. Either way you're free to go and we'll see you next time''.

Blake goes out from the club house. ''hey, wait up'', a sprinting Gigi said.

The boy stopped and turned around to be met by the girl.

She was smiling. ''that's good. You're singing at the deb and I'm a deb girl. Such a shame you aren't my escort tho, but I understand. I guess now that you're singing it would have been a little more difficult''.

The boy gives her a soft smile. ''yeah''. Gigi grins. ''so, it's a party later at Nicole's I was just wondering if you wanted to go... with me?''. Blake was hesitant at first but agreed. ''yeah sure. I just have to get home now tho. It's Belly's birthday and we're having this dinner not long from now, but hey you wanna join?''.
