Foxjin walks in the back again like usual, she's wondering if the Resistance is doing fine without Grave around still or if it's all descended into chaos while they are gone, not that it matters, she doesn't plan to stay there after this mission. If you can even call it a mission.
Amber is walking near her although they haven't talked again yet. Foxjin eyes her slightly but doesn't say anything, then Amber notices and slowly signs,

Talk?”

Foxjin nods to her,

She smiles slightly.

“Do you know what the plan is?” she asks her quietly as she steps closer.

Foxjin hesitates before responding,

“No.”

“So we just get there and fight?” Amber asks.

Foxjin shrugs,

“I guess so.”

“Hmm, I would have expected your leader to be a little more productive,” Amber comments, she's brave to say that about Grave so openly.

Foxjin cracks a smile staring up at where Grave is talking to Burrito.

“Doesn’t matter if we’re all gonna die anyway,” she says finally.

“You think that?” Amber looks around at the group, “there’s nine of us and one of him.”

Foxjin shakes her head remembering the vessels, how they were just as strong. It’s an impossible mission, Herobrine will just call backup anyway. Part of her hopes Skelly can convince him not to kill them but it’s a slim chance, no one even knows if Herobrine even keeps control of his vessels or not.
Of course Amber doesn’t know anything about Herobrine whatsoever, she’s going into this whole thing blind. Foxjin doesn’t even know why she’d decided to come in the first place.

“So, you mean Herobrine is stronger than we think, I was wondering is it even possible to kill him?” Amber asks.

“Probably not” Foxjin replies, “he’s a creator after all, our best bet is to drive him out.”

“Colders your friend, right?” Amber says.

“I suppose,” she stares over at where he is walking, he seems to be distancing today as well.

“Acquaintances,” she murmurs finally.

“Do you just not want to make friends with anyone? I mean... being alone isn’t great either,” Amber says back.

“I like to be alone,” Foxjin replies.

“But you talk to me,” Amber presses.

“Yeah,” Foxjin murmurs

“So we’re friends then,” Amber says.

“I guess so,” Foxjin says again.

“If you say acquaintances I swear,” she pulls out one of her daggers then smiles again and tucks it back away.

Foxjin reflects that this is the most she’s talked to someone in a while, after DNAx at the Resistance, in the desert. She isn't sure if she likes this or not.

“Hang on,” she murmurs then walks away from Amber, she's going to talk to Colder, maybe he knows the plan, he’s strategic after all.

-----

“Colder,” she whispers.

He turns to look at her a bit surprised she’s talking to him right now in the big group.

“Oh, hi” he says back.

“What’s the plan,” she asks then glances back at Amber, “for... fighting."
