(Century 21 Sting)
The story begins much in the same fashion as that of "The Worlds of SUPERMARIONATION: The Hatching Horror". We are displayed with a wilderness around of empty space and distant stars and planets. Gleaming lights fade in and out of different colours, ranging from purples to violet, red to gold, and blue to green. The stars begin to glimmer as the shinning patterns flash in front of the camera. The voice of the Emissary, the Investigator from the same name of the Gerry Anderson TV pilot, voices over. As this continues, we begin to see flashback footage from the worlds of Gerry Anderson in the mystical swirls around us.
Investigator:
This is the voice of the future. The future has observed and catered to witness the events of the past and present to form a better tomorrow. The universe and it's dreams of the future have come in all shapes and sizes. From what we have seen has made the universe become the force we exist in.
We see a view of the Solar system.
We have already explored this galaxy and this subject who dominates this region of space called man. A cruel yet compassionate society. Their complex motivations have brought them to become at times their worst and at others their greatest achievements.
The swirling colours show flashback footage of various examples of previous Century 22 Gerry Anderson crossovers. We see the poisoned fish swirling on the seas in Death To Captain Scarlet!/Martians From The Deep, and collapsing bridge work killing an innocent family trapped inside their car from The Evil Of The Mysterons. This then depicts various shots of aircrafts seen in The Hatching Horror with Thunderbird 2 deploying the Domo for a castle, an SPV racing across a barren landscape, and Stingray firing Sting missiles.
But these are some of the most valiant and talented examples within the existence of our cosmos. For beyond, we see a destined group of misfits protect all that is good from the universe from plunging into the shadows of darkness.
The Paradox zooms through space, protecting Lavender Castle. This then cuts to see the various members of Captain Thrice's team aboard.
Deeper within the universe, a lost colony of explorers drift through the universe attempt to discover themselves a new planet to call home. Defending themselves from any unknown cosmic threat posed to them. For this is the body of approximately 300 men and women working aboard man's only survivors, the crew and occupants of Moonbase Alpha.
The moon drifts through the universe. We see Moonbase Alpha from a bird's eye view, and the busy crew operating computers and analysing data.
Other defenders are seeking to protect themselves from other hostile menaces, and have gone above and beyond to search space for their answers.
Spacehawk launches through space. A UFO spins in another area of the universe.
For a time, these forces were once converged together to provide the most heroic and noble individuals this galaxy can catalogue.
The swirling around us begins to fade to reveal space. The stars slowly begin to dissipate around us.
This is where their venture begins. The finest body of heroes ever conceived. Dedicated. Courageous. And totally conscientious to their work effort. For when the balance of the universe is tipped by external factors, they come together with honour and integrity.
The stars then go out.
(Opening titles)
With the titles beginning, we see the epic countdown of the Thunderbirds' 5...4...3...2...1, "Thunderbirds Are Go. We see an aircraft named the titular Skydancer, a nuclear power plant, a beam of light emitting brightly throughout space, Steve Zodiac looking around himself, then the SHADO Interceptors launching off their platform. BOOM! We see the Angel aircraft flying through the skies, Dr Agon holding a drink, a Skydancer aircraft crashing down, Stingray zooming around to dodge an incoming missile, and Tex Tucker riding on his horse towards us. BOOM!
A man falls to his doom off the edge of a building, Thunderbird 3 launching out of its hanger, an exploding nuclear power plant, the Thunderiser being deployed from Thunderbird 2, and seeing the Tracy brothers alongside members of Spectrum and occupants of Moonbase Alpha beside a damp cave wall. This then transitions to show Joe 90 in the Rat Trap. We zoom towards him as we see the Rat Trap spinning around before we see the title split to show the Thunderbirds credits. This shows the lead of various Anderson series, along with a title of their character and a background of their vehicle.
We see the usual image of Scott Tracy before we alternate to the background of an iconic image of the SPV with the words in bold "Captain Scarlet, Spectrum Agent Number One". The red cut out on the right of the screen reveals to be Captain Scarlet. The next shot is a background of Stingray in Pen 3 with the bold words "Troy Tempest, Aquanaut of Marineville". The yellow cutout change to reveal Troy on the left of the screen. The next is a background of the Jet Air Car with the words "Joe 90, the most special agent". Joe's green cut out on the right reveals the character.
A white background hides Ed Straker's image. His background shows a launching SHADO Interceptor, and the caption states, "Ed Straker, SHADO Commander-in-chief". The white background then shows Straker. Finally, we see a grey background hiding Commander Koenig showing a background of an Eagle launching through space. As the image then depicts Koenig, the caption reads, "John Koenig, Moonbase Alpha custodian". We then see the iconic "Filmed in Videcolor" with the dramatic explosions behind, "Filmed in SUPERMARIONATION".
