We cut to see Fireball XL5 continuing to journey through the universe to return to the Investigator. Robert the Robot pilots the ship alone, and we cut to the relaxation bay. We see the members of W.I.N, the Supercar team, and B.I.S.H.O.P all present and listening to Dr. Venus and Matic, presenting the news she has to say.
Dr. Venus:
Well friends, Steve has told me that we will arriving to our destination very shortly. If you would be so kind and to make sure you have all your personal belongings with you. We will be departing from Fireball shortly.
Mitch:
OOH! OOH! OOH! OOH! OOH! ARGH!
Jimmy:
That's right, Mitch. This is where we will saying goodbye.
Steve Zodiac sits down in his chair with the controls of Fireball at his use. He contacts Space City through the nutroni transmitter.
Steve Zodiac:
This is Fireball XL5 calling Space City. Fireball XL5 to Space City.
We see the revolving Space City tower before we are inside the control room with Commander Zero and Lieutenant Ninety.
Lieutenant Ninety:
Colonel Zodiac reporting, Commander.
Commander Zero:
Good, Lieutenant. Switch me through to him.
As Thunderbird 5 orbits the Earth, we see John Tracy listening in on the transmission between Fireball XL5 and Space City.
Steve Zodiac:
We are passing the designated sector now, Commander. We will make this our final transmission before we see our friends off safely.
Commander Zero:
Ok, Colonel Zodiac. I wish them all the best.
John:
So do I.
A haze throughout Fireball XL5 emits.
Steve Zodiac:
It looks like this is it, Robert. Here we go.
In the lounge, the bright light increases in intensity.
Sam Loover:
It's happening.
Mike Mercury:
We know it's nothing to worry about. Last time it was the smoke. Do you think we will be returned to where we left off?
Professor McClaine:
Or are we about to go back to the meeting point first?
Father Unwin:
We will know soon enough my friends.
The bright light encapsulates our view. We are then brought back to the same damp, cave-like setting where the characters were introduced together. They are presented to the light of the Investigator. Their vehicles have returned to their normal sizes and are housed in different bays like before.
Joe McClaine:
We're here again. You were right, dad.
Dr. Beaker:
This Investigator chap must seem to want us to bring here together again for the last time.
The Investigator communicates to them.
