We return back to the Investigator. The Fireball XL5 team, the agents of W.I.N, B.I.S.H.O.P, and the Supercar team continue waiting. The Investigator's light continues to flash and spark.

Investigator:

Countdown... subjugation... transfer... incompatible...

Mike Mercury:

He's cracking up. He's getting worse.

MasterSpy and Zarin continue watching from a distance.

Dr. Venus:

Investigator, is there anything we can do to help?

Investigator:

Computerised... function... settlement...

The light continues to smoke. We hear the sound of the build-up of power overloading.

Professor McClaine:

Ugh. Let's get out of here before we all go up in smoke.

Professor Popkiss:

Well where else can we go? Back to our ships?

The haze begins to brighten around the protagonists again.

Professor McClaine:

It's better than chocking in here.

Mike Mercury:

It's going to implode this time!

Mitch:

ARGH! ARGH!

Professor Matic:

Hey. It's happening again.

Steve Zodiac:

Let's hope he's done it. Here we go again. Be seeing you, folks.

The light continues to beam brightly. When it dissipates, we see Colonel Zodiac and Robert the Robot back at the controls of Fireball XL5, with Dr. Venus standing behind them. They are back in their ship returned to regular size, and they view back out around them to the empty void of space.

Back again?

The beam of light then returns the rest of the XL5 crew, and the members of W.I.N, B.I.S.H.O.P and the Supercar team back to the relaxation bay.

Zoonie:

WWWEEELLLLCCCOOOMMEEEE HHHOOMMMEEEEEE!!!!!!!!

Dr. Beaker:

Well, we made out of it in time. Thanks to the Investigator.

Matthew:

But we're not back. We're here again.

Professor Matic goes to look in the cargo bay and still finds miniaturized versions of the other ships.

Professor Matic:

He, he, he, he, he, he. And still seems like we have those cute toys aboard too. Fancy that.

In the control room, Steve gets up and leaves Robert.

Steve Zodiac:

Course relayed to Earth, Robert. Take her away. We're heading back to with the others.

Robert the Robot:

RRROOGGGEEERRRRR!!!!!! TTTAAAAKKKIINNNNGGGG HHHEEERRRR AAAWWWWAAYYYY!!!!!!

Fireball XL5 blasts back in the direction of Earth. In the relaxation bay, Matic has joined with the others.

Jimmy:

Well, what could have happened?

Joe:

The good thing is, is that we are still here.

Professor Matic:

As are the ships. It's more like we've been sent into reverse back here.

Jimmy:

Then what about getting us home again?

Steve and Venus arrive in.

Steve Zodiac:

That is something we will have to find out, Jimmy. For now, we are headed back to Earth. We can't all stay aboard forever. There are too many of us to sustain aboard Fireball XL5.

Father Unwin:

What do we believe the cause to be for this?

Sam Loover:

This entity thing looked like it was on the verge of blowing up. By what strange powers can we guess at what it's doing?

Jimmy:

You don't think we're going to be stuck here forever?

Dr. Venus:

We hope not too, young man. If we can bring you forward in time, then somehow we will get you back.

Steve Zodiac:

That's right. Situating ourselves here in space waiting for the Investigator to bring us back is not an option. We return to Earth, and try to find some answers in the meantime.

Fireball XL5 flies to the right of the screen, returning in the direction back towards the Earth...

DUM DUN DUM DUN DUM DUN DUM...
