We cut back to SF APP. Spectrum forces continue to run the atomic power plant. The Angels maintain their patrol in the air. The R.Y Aircraft along with two of the other Skydancers are ready for launch on their bay. The Captains are busy in the office with the CEO Intelligence as the operation goes underway. Heather is positioned in her spearhead craft ready to lift off, and we hear the engines increasing in power. In the office, Milo is sat at his desk sending instructions to his pilots. Captains Scarlet and Blue watch out of the window, preparing to see the crafts take off.
Captain Blue:
A lot of uranium these tanks can take.
Captain Scarlet:
Yes. And one nasty accident in one of those tanks can poison the soil of San Franscisco with radioactive material. I feel that the Mysterons are about here, Adam. Somewhere.
Captain Blue:
We still have no sign of that other pilot, Paul. But Ochre, Magenta, and the others are still searching. The Angels will have the Skydancers covered. And we will have the power plant covered.
Milo:
This is control, reporting to Skydancers. Control to Skydancers.
As Milo communicates to them, we see the pilots ready to launch their ships and hear Milo on the radio.
You will fly on your standard course to Europe and collect your deposits of uranium. This will then be dispatched back to the power plant as your routine instructions. Throughout the duration of your flight, you will be escorted by the Spectrum Angels. They will ensure that your mission is successful.
We cut back to Milo.
I don't have to reiterate the importance of this task. But it must be carried out successfully and without delay. The Angels are standing by. And you are ready for take-off.
We see the Skydancers begin to lift up into the air. The R.Y. Aircraft rises up first, followed by the other two ships. They then accelerate off away. The Angels then follow them close behind. Aboard Cloudbase, Colonel White monitors the progress of the Skydancers, followed with the Angels behind them.
Colonel White:
Ensure that Spectrum satellites and the Angels do not lose track of them, Lieutenant Green. We want our eyes fixated to the Skydancers.
The Angels continue flying alongside them. Destiny Angel leads the operation from her aircraft. Milo in his office is also able to track the aircrafts on his monitor which we see him and the Captains watch. Captain Blue's radio swings down and his lights on his shoulders flash ochre.
Captain Ochre:
We still can find no Mysteron trace nor the pilot of Skydancer 2. No one has left the compound. And with no presence of any Mysteron we can be sure they haven't done anything to him here.
We cut to the R.Y. Skydancer. Aboard, Heather leads the underwings expertly. Inside the craft, we see the Mysteronised Skydancer 2 inside the cargo unit – putting the lift of Heather in mortal danger. As she pilots her ship, we see behind her the appearance of Ragus sneaking into the cockpit – having stowed aboard the ship without her knowledge. The Mysteron agent tampers with the ejection unit. The cabin will open up unexpectedly! He hides in safety again. BANG! The doors suddenly open!
A tremendous gust of cold sucks out Heather, screaming as she is sent into the abyss and to her grizzly fate. The Angels are entirely unaware of this. Once the decompression has finished, the atmosphere stabilises. Ragus returns to look inside the cabin. The Mysteronised Heather was there! Mysteron rings slide over her. The camera shows the exterior of the R.Y Skydancer, followed by a satellite scan of the aircrafts. Finally, the aircrafts reach their destination over Europe. They descend downwards as the Angels fly above them.
Destiny:
Skydancers now arriving to landing depot to receive uranium. So far, no Mysteron activity has been found.
The three ships descend onto pads similar to that at SF APP. The uranium is being boarded to their ships upwards from the pads carefully by carefully computerised mechanical engineering. The Mysteronised Heather waits patiently. We see the satellite scans on the monitors of Cloudbase and the CEO's office. Colonel White watches closely. Captains Scarlet, Blue, and Milo also watch from the office. However, as the process of collecting Uranium is underway, Ragus has snuck out from the ship and goes out to sabotage the other two Skydancers. He takes a spanner and begins altering the ejection units of both ships.
Both Arub and Sinx aboard their ships remain unaware of this. Once his work is complete, Ragus sneaks back aboard the R.Y Aircraft. Finally, the Skydancers are ready for launch. The R.Y Aircraft leads the way, rising up into the air and slowly accelerating off back to SF APP. The other two ships do the same. Arub and Sinx still remain unaware of this. Once they three Skydancers are in formation, the Angels continue to fly over them. The satellite scans aboard Cloudbase and SF APP show the aircrafts returning back to SF APP. Milo and the Spectrum officers continue to watch, ensuring the assignment is successful.
Milo:
This is excellent progress. Excellent progress.
Unfortunately, when the Skydancers are high in the air and travelling at top speed, both Arub and Sinx prepare to die.
Arub:
Fancy being one upped by a whole team of women fighter pilots.
The instrumentation on his craft begins to judder, and we hear a strange groaning noise inside the engine of his ship. Suddenly, the hatch catapults open and he is sucked out, screaming his last. Sinx aboard the other Skydancer notices a figure be whisked out of his craft.
Sinx:
Did I... what?
The instrumentation on his craft also begins to judder and become erratic. Suddenly, his ejection unit malfunctions. BANG! Sinx also dies in horrific agony, being dragged out of his ship by the terrifying speed of the wind, causing him to suffocate and freeze to death before he eventually hits the ground many miles away dead. Heather, joined by the Mysteronised Ragus in the R.Y. cockpit remain confident of their mission as they turn creepily to one another. Aboard the other crafts, the atmospheres have stabilized and we see both Mysteronised Arub and Sinx at the helm of their Skydance aircrafts.
Heather:
Spearhead skydancer to control. Uranium samples collected. Returning to San Fransisco as instructed. Over and out.
This then cuts to seeing the three Skydance ships flying in unison together, without a hint that anything Mysteron was behind the horrifying truth of these pilots...
