"I'd like to see what this place offers from what I did, and I'm quite excited about the thought." Those words said by Vincenzo kept echoing throughout my head.

From what he did?

I was troubled by that one line he spoke. It should have flown over my head, but it refused to leave as if it was budging me that was a crucial detail I could not afford to miss. "Wait, that's him!" Gina gasped, catching the attention of all of us. "Who?" I asked.

"That's the guy I saw back at the noodle restaurant! There was an itch of mine that was saying I met him before and that must be it." Gina said. The group calmed down at what seemed to be a normal occurrence in day-to-day life.

You see Anthros from a different place and meet them in another place, nothing unusual. Happens all the time especially when I'm flying overseas.

"I told you about that guy right Val?" My ears perked up against the helmet. Taking it off, I exhaled a breath and shifted my disheveled hair. "Yeah, I remember. But what was he doing here?" I asked. "And what was his sudden deal with the stuff about the museum?"

The group could not find a definitive answer. Gina grabbed her drink and lifted her visor to speak out a bold statement. "I say we follow him."

We turn to Vincenzo who vanished from our sight into the crowd. I turn towards the rest of the group. Everyone except Gina were hesitant even behind the masks they concealed their emotions from.

But their wagging tails were a dead giveaway. I sighed, hoping that we'd have a girls night out after a while after this. "Place your masks on. Stay near the four closest exits from this building and contact each other once we see him leave." I tucked my hair into a bun and wore the Deadmau5 helmet.

We split off into the crowd, each with a mission in search of Vincenzo. Every aisle that we passed by led us deeper into the fiesta of cosplayers dressing up as different characters and every booth we come across were not left unchecked.

"Here at the exit near the cosmetics stall," Vannie called.

"Found the second one. It's near the stall selling dope swords," Gina said.

"I'm at the main entrance," Abigail said.

"I'm opposite where Vannie is. There's not much Anthros going out here, but it's still worth keeping an eye out. Drop into the group chat once you see Vincenzo. We're looking for a gray wolf in his early twenties, about 5'9' in height and wearing casual business attire." I said.

I surveyed the area that I chose to patrol. There were fewer Anthros gathered around here, meaning it would be the optimal exit point that Vincenzo uses if he doesn't want to be spotted by anyone else. Therefore, I should spot him first.

I leaned against a pillar. Mindlessly scrolling on my phone and twiddling my fingers scanning side-to-side of the few Anthros passing by. The more time passed, the shorter the interval became between looking around and checking my phone for updates on the group chat.

I stood there for about twenty minutes before I began to wonder. "Damn it. I picked a bad spot didn't I?" I can't take this. My limited attention span is getting the better of me.

Wait, no! This would be the only spot that Vincenzo has to go to without being spotted easily. Otherwise, if he'd picked the entrance then that would be stupid-

"Gray wolf in a casual business attire spotted!" Abigail rang up on the group chat. "He seems to be with two other individuals and is leaving fast!" What!? No! He-

Hastily setting aside my disbelief, I bolted off to the other side of the building, making my way through the labyrinth of art booths, cosmetics stalls, and merchandise. I weaved my way through the crowd and caught sight of Gina with Vannie running alongside each other. Gina seemed to be holding a map.
