The hum of an engine became gradually louder as it made its way down the hillside. The driver initiated a maneuver that caused the rear tires to lose traction. "Ramp upcoming!" The voice spoke through the headset.

The driver braced himself as he drove the wheels to a ramp, causing the vehicle to topple over to its side and skid across the asphalt coming to a halt. "End scene! How's the stunt driver?!" The driver stuck out a thumbs up as the crew rushed to extinguish the flames.

"Talk about intense. Didn't think that move would actually be approved when there is certain death. . .despite the preparations." Vannie said and took a sip from her cola.

"Yeah, glad we're out for now. This heat is killing me! The summer has already finished but it still feels like death!" Gina said as she poured a cup of water filled with ice cubes on her head. "Oi, watch it you're getting me wet!" Sinclair shouted.

The crew of Anthros sat underneath the pitched tents. They'd finished acting out their roles for today, all that's left to do is to wait for boss man to call it a day before they could pack up and move on to the next scene.

A mix of Anthro and humans moved along the set area, each individual carrying out their specific tasks to create the next scenes for the chapter.

"EEK! You got water on my wound now the make-up will get ruined!" Sinclair began tugging on Gina's ears. "Arrggh! Quit it you hag that's your own sweat that ruined it!"

Not a moment later they were already at each others throats again.

"As usual. . .say, anyone seen Wendigo lately- oh, wait, pardon me - Wendy, I meant." Valentine rolled her eyes. "Nope." Abigail responded. She laid down on the bench still trying to find a comfortable angle to spread herself out. "Damn it man. . .someone raided my village again." A pout appeared on her face when her phone sent her a notification. "AND THEY TOOK A MILLION GOLD AND ELIXIR?!"

She sprung up and blew a long sigh. Abigail tried to lay back down again, only to hit against something. "Oi, can you move?" Vincent raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, nah. You're already taking up enough space lying down. You just happened to move and I took the liberty of taking the seat instead of sitting my ass on the ground."

"Ugh! Fine, I'll lean on you then." Abigail said.

Vincent felt her weight press on his side. She felt heavier than usual. He was going to make a joke about her being fat but Vincent shook that off his mind as it was low hanging fruit. Instead, he crossed his arms and became captivated by the flashing screen of Abigail's phone.

"Why can't you just place all your little dudes all at once? Wouldn't that be easier than placing them wherever?"

"It's called troops, idiot! And I'm not stupid enough to not use strategy."

Max (the wolf one) had approached the group. "Yo, welcome to the break room. Well, sorta. It's best we could do in order to get it up quickly before the heat kills us." Vincent greeted.

"Where have you been? Wendy getting you to retake more scenes as per usual?" Sol asked, who sat on the table with Frank and Eve playing blackjack.

"An icecream truck passed by while we were in the middle of something. Figured I could use Wendy's card to pay for everyone's dessert." He said as he passed them a variety of soft serve ice creams and icy poles." Max said. "Now I just need to find a way to slip this back to her wallet before she finds out. . ."

"I see. . ." Sol's attention was somewhere else. He was very clearly debating if he should call it or not. He glanced at his rivals; Frank and Eve. Frank as per usual could shoot you a look that would pierce your soul, and was a professional at keeping a poker face. Getting a read on him was tough and he could bring up a bluff and they wouldn't suspect a thing at any moment.
