Vincent's head flopped on the cabinet in front of him. Turns out the office haven't bought a new kettle yet. "Goodness. . .where'd it all go wrong-" Vincent was then interrupted by a nudge from his shoulder.

He turned towards the Serval lady whom he recognized as one of the older interns who are about to finish their internship. "Lookin' down there big fella. Word is being tossed around that you made a big fuck-up with the document the boss gave you to handle." She said. Vincent nodded.

"Yeah, something like that Shera. I don't get why they gave me such a huge responsibility. I didn't realize that file was so damn important I just. . ." Vincent sighed and grabbed the mug of coffee and brought it underneath the tap. Shera looked at him quizzically before smiling to herself.

"Y'know, you remind me of myself when I first started." She held Vincent's hand from turning on the tap to pour cold water on his coffee. "And for the record, we use the other department's kettle for our hot water." She said before grabbing his mug.

"W-what do you mean by that?" Vincent asked before could leave the break room. She turned around and looked at him up and down before laughing to herself.

Vincent looked up to Shera in a way. She had a charming and comforting aura around her, and she was known as 'the mother of interns' in the office as she frequently gives out advice and tips for newer interns who are struggling with office life and dealing with bosses or managers that are a piece of work.

"For a guy like you, I wouldn't expect to be so timid." She replied. "I'm not saying that's wrong or anything, but when the bosses see that in you, they'd constantly tug your strings for their own benefits. You gotta have a spine for yourself, Max. At the end of the day they're just trying to meet the demands of their bosses, and we are just here to get some money."

"Oh yeah, don't be so hard on yourself. This isn't a life or death situation and the company can find a way to fix it. . .they're just slow on that." Vincent nodded. "And lighten up dude! This is just our training grounds. I doubt you'd want to stay here after your internship" She gave him a soft punch on the shoulder. "I know where I'll be heading off to after I complete mine."

Vincent had heard that many times. The turnover rate is unsurprisingly high, and the amount of interns that want to apply here are next to none after they finish. Oh, and you're like a robot! Going around saying; "Yes, sir! Yes, sir! Affirmative, sir!" She jokingly mocked him and threw up some salutes.

Vincent couldn't help but laugh a little bit.

"It's like you're a human in a disguise trying to blend in badly!" She giggled and booped his nose. Vincent's eyes widened momentarily, but he shook it off and laughed along with her as he scratches the back of his head. "Alright, just stay put okay? I'll be back with your coffee. . .with hot water!"

Before she could head out, Vincent blurted out a question out of impulse. "W-what if. . .I was a human?" Vincent immediately regretted asking that. She turned around to give him a glare, then looked him up and down once more. "Wouldn't think of ya' any different to be honest. I'll definitely take a selfie with you though!" She said before opening the door. "Who wouldn't want a photo with a previously-thought extinct species?" Then she left.

Vincent smiled. "Yeah. . .I guess I'd take a photo with an Anthro too if they were the only one left." He said to himself.

"Pennie, you seeing anything?" Vincent peered into the slit through the door.

Pennie detected a within the blueprints that stood out amongst the maze-like corridors. She'd led Vincent into this room to investigate further which led him to prison cells guarded by thick iron doors with a small slit to peer into the room. Upon taking a closer look inside, it was nothing but darkness.
