~Hermione POV~

I slam the door shut as hard as I could after I had entered my stuiped office.

What a day I was having.

I thought everything was looking up for me but how wrong was I.

I grabbed my things ontop of my desk that I knew that I wanted to bring back home with me.

The weekend was great I moved into my new place with the help of my friends, Draco had even offered to help but I turned him down, still not ready to deal with his Shenanigans.

But this morning I had a letter waiting for me ontop of my office desk asking me to go meet Mr, Shacklebolt to Discuss something important in his office.

Kingsley Shacklebolt was the man in charge of all areas in the Ministry.

So I went up to the 11th floor and knocked on his door.

The Secretary was not at her desk so I didn't bother to wait around.

I was offered to come in and so I pushed the door open.

As I am standing in the doorway I see that Ron was in the room too  sitting in a chair with a teacup in his hands.

I didn't say hello, I was to busy with my thoughts.

What was he doing here and why was I asked to come?

"Come sit Miss, Granger there is a seat beside Mr, Wesley." Kingsley Shacklebolt said gesturing with his hand.

Ron had a big Smug luck on his face, I wished at that moment that I could smack him across the head.

"Well Miss, Granger I guess I should start with, I have been informed by Mr, Wesley that a few years ago you had used the Obliviate spell on both of your parents. I have been wondering why they have not come up in subject these years but I did not know that you had gone that far as to blank there minds."

Bloody hell he fucking told on me.

What is he 2 yearas old?

Is he that pissed that I spelt with Draco and told the world that he is bad in bed?

"I know the war was going on but mychild why would you do that to your own parents? and why haven't you not fixed there minds?"Kingsley  asked looking shocked behind his desk.

"Yes the war was going on and thats why I did it. I didn't want them to be involved, it was the only way to keep them safe.
To be honest if I had to do this all  over again I would for there safety."

I knew what I was doing at that time and I also knew that it was Against the ministry rules to Obliviate someone's mind without the Ministry's permission but I had too.

Voldemort would have sent his Death Eaters to go and find them and do unthinkable things to them and than kill them."

Tears had started to come out of my eyes rolling down my checks.

Oh how I hated Ron for being a little baby at this moment.

"Well I do understand, don't get me wrong but without the Permission of using the Obliviate spell  you can be in very big trouble. Also and I am sorry to say this but it really looks  bad on the Ministry as you work for us. We dont want people to think that we pick and chose favorites. So as long as this does not get out and stays between the three of us I can let it go. You did help save us so it's the only thing I can do but if this gets out its all on you Miss, Granger Don't make the Ministry look bad."

Shaking my head, I'm so Disappointed in Mankind.

I laughed, thats what it's all about  somebody else's reputation God for bid I think of myself to save my family.

If that is what the problem is I can fix that.

Standing up from my chair, I look down at Ron on my left.

He looked like he  had won a big Quidditch Match.

So I smacked him across the head with my hand really hard.

I hope he is seeing stars at this moment.

Than I looked over towards Kingsley Shacklebolt, Straightening out my back, taking a deep breath and than exhaling it out.say

"I QUIT"
