It was the next day and the afternoon had just started. All of us with the exception of Shin-Ha were in the city together. "Is something wrong?" Yona asks Hak as he shivers. "No." He reassures. Yona ignores his weird behavior and continues walking.
"We made Shin-Ha stay behind alone again. We should hurry up and find the Green Dragon." I said suddenly as my find wandered to the masked dragon.
"He did seem pretty restless." Yun agreed.
Yona turns to Gija. "Gija, where's the Green Dragon?" Yona questioned eagerly. "I believe he's in this town, but he's very quick and keeps darting around." Gija answered. I jumped when a vase went flying through a window.
"Your in the way! Move!" Yelled a man. "Stop!" Screamed a woman's voice as the sound of glass, furniture, or anything else you could find in a store breaking filled the air. I looked in the window to see two officials beating a family. A husband and wife with a small little boy.
I began to march up to the store my face red with anger. Yun grabbed my hands holding me back. "What's going on in there!" Yona mumbled.
"Isn't it obvious those two officials are going on a rampage in that store! We have to stop them!" I growled. The others looked ready to beat the officials as well but Yun dragged me away into a nearby alley causing the other to follow.
"Let me go! I have to do something! Let me go!" I cried raising my voice as I thrashed in Yun's grip. "You can't. It'll draw to much attention to us." Yun lectures me tightening his grip on my hands. I just struggled harder. "See if I care!" I yelled angrily. Yun looked at me surprised.
To be honest, I wasn't myself at that moment my cheerful, happy side was long gone. I was fuming as I heard the family's screams. I wanted, no needed, to do something. I couldn't stand this helpless feeling! I could do something!
"May! The towns folks are saying the officials are on edge because some pirates sank one of Kumji's ships last night! If we do something they'll be more on edge. I know how you feel but we need to lie low." Yun tried to explain.
I shuck my head. "I don't care!" I barked. I them gave one last attempt to escape Yun's grasp. To my amazement I pushed threw and ran to the house. I ran in the see the husband and wife cradling the little boy. He was bleeding.
I looked at the officials. I could feel sparks of anger flying in my eyes as I glares at the two officials. "How could you!" I screamed pulling my yellow dagger and throwing at one of the men.
The dagger pinned his shirt against the wall. I threw my red dagger towards the mans face. My anger clouded my aim and it missed by a centimeter. "Damn you." I growl walking towards them.
Yun and the others rushed in and watched me, the man pulled out the dagger from his shirt and examined it. He smirked. "I think I'll keep this." He replies. Also grabbing my red dagger. I pulled out my blue one.
The other man unsheathed his sword and charged me. I kicked him in the side and stabbed his hand. He cried out in pain dropping his weapon and dropped to the floor clutching his hand wincing. This was the side of me that rarely came out. The side of me that had a chance of becoming a fighter. Had a chance of protecting my new life and my new family that I was beginning to cherish so much. The other man remaining looked at me surprised. "What the hell." He began.
