After a successful week in Hawaii with the ones I loved I was ready to get back to Memphis. I was cramping and not feeling well. While everyone enjoyed their last few days I decided to take a nap. I was awaken a short time later. I opened my eyes to see a random lady. I hopped up ready to swing, she threw her hands up in defense.
"I'm sorry for startling you, Ja sent me in here to wake you."
"Where the hell is he?" I questioned, the lady laughed.
"Just follow me please,"
"Okay, let me brush my teeth and wash my face please." I grabbed my phone and headed into the bathroom. I called Ja and started my morning routine.
"Wassup baby?"
"Where are you? Who is this lady? What is going on?" I shot questions at him. He laughed.
"Just go with the flow stink. I'll see you in a little bit." He hung up before I could say a word. I started calling my sister, Maiyani, My mom even Nova and no one answered. I sighed, deciding to just go with the flow. After freshening up, I headed downstairs. There were 4 girls in the living room.
"Hi Islan, I'm Kyla and I'll be your hairdresser. Zoey and Marcelle are going to work on your nails and feet. Lastly, Hilary will do your make up."
"What does this boy have up his sleeve," I thought to myself. I sat back and let the ladies work their magic and when they were done. I looked way better than I felt. My hair was curled and flowing softly down my back. My nails were a classic French tip and white toes while my makeup was a glam beat.
"You look so beautiful, but one more thing. Your outfit is in the room you and Ja shared. Please get dressed and meet me, by the front door." When I walked in the room I was taken by surprise. There was a dress I'd showed Ja awhile back laid across the bed. It was a beautiful form fitting strapless teal dress. With a corset like top. It was satin. I'd told him this dress was perfect to wear for either a date or an outdoor wedding. It was paired with a pair of stilettos with rhinestones that went up my leg. After getting dressed I did what I was told and met Kyla by the door. Tap irritating ass was waiting for me.
"Put this on," He told me and passed me a blindfold.
"Devonta what the hell?"
"Girl, put the fucking blindfold on." Tap laughed. I rolled my eyes and went with the flow.
"You ready?" Tap asked me, taking my hand into his.
"You look beautiful Izzy, Ja is a very lucky Young man." Tao expressed, I smiled.
"Aww, Tappy sappy thank you."
"Of course," Well fell into a comfortable silence as Tap guided me wherever he was taking me.
"Tap, where are we going?" I questioned, I now felt sand under my feet. The sounds of Ed Sheerans song perfect played, making me smiled.
"I found a love, for me Darling, just dive right in and follow my lead Well, I found a girl, beautiful and sweet Oh, I never knew you were the someone waiting for me,"
"We're here actually." He said as we walked a little further. He removed the blindfold and I could've passed out. Ja stood in front of Huge lights that spelled out MARRY ME?
