(Longer chapter no way!!?!? :O)

"How did you guys meet?" Walter Evans asked as the Forger family settled themselves on the large leather brown couches.

Loid smiled at Yor, "We got married after I bumped into her one day. Never seen anyone quite like her."

Yor turned a shade of bright red, fidgeting with her hands. "Loid is an excellent husband as well! He cares for the kids when I'm not present and he's a loving father!"

Murdoch Swan scowled, "Why would you, a lovely women, marry a man with baggage, eh? You've got much higher choices, I'm sure."

Henry Henderson glared at Swan. "Swan... that's quite un-elegant of you."

Swan glowered back but subsided reluctantly which was good because Akira was debating whether to pummel the headmaster into the wall.

Loid's eyes narrowed.

Housemaster Evans cleared his throat. "Besides the point, Swan. Anyway, why did you choose Eden Academy?"

Loid filled in quickly, "There's no better school in the nation and we want our children to become great, memorable people in the future."

"Mm," Housemaster Evans nodded. "How do you describe your children?"

Loid managed a smile, one like Akira's: forced and untrue. "I'd say Anya is curious as well as intellegent and sometimes I feel like she sees right through me."

Akira gave Anya an alarmed look of which she returned.

"However," Loid continued. "She's also a picky eater."

Anya pouted.

"Akira," Loid said conversationally, "on the other hand, is also quite intellegent. I'd say he's gifted, even. The books he's reading are truly extraordinary for his age and I believe he has a jump start on others of his grade."

"Which is why he's enrolling a year early," Housemaster Swan snapped.

Loid nodded, "Exactly that."

Housemaster Evans turned to Yor. "I see you're their new mother. What is your parenting style, may I ask?"

Yor tensed, "I'm not their biological mother so I'm actually kind of spoiling them."

A stiff laugh.

"But," Yor said, "I'm hoping to become stricter for their sakes later in the future."

Housemaster Swan snorted loudly, "Why can't you be stricter with yourself first!"

Akira clenched and unclenched his hands. He was now seriously debating whether to much the old man.

"She does," Loid stepped in calmly. "She cares for her brother now and when they were little. She may not look like it, but she's extremely harsh to herself."

"How-" Housemaster Swan growled.

"Now, now," Housemaster Evans put a hand up to shush Swan. He turned to look at the two kids. "What are your names and your address?"

"Anya Forger," Anya said suddenly, "Add...res..."

128 Park Avenue, West Berlint, Akira thought.

"128 Park Avenue, West Berlint!" Anya yelped.

Housemaster Evans nodded appreciatively. "What about you?"

"Akira Forger, sir," Akira said politely.

"What do you plan on doing once you get into the school?"

Anya looked at Akira but he didn't know.

"Um," Anya looked at Loid, "um, find out about the bosses of the organization!"

Akira stared at her, trying hard to keep his jaw from slamming against the ground. What?

"You mean the headmaster?" Housemaster Evans said gently.

Loid confirmed, "Yes."

Henderson looked impressed, "What about you, Akira?"

Akira straightened, "Kinda the same as Anya. I do want to learn from the headmaster but also, I want to climb the rankings of Eden Academy and prove my worth." This part was true. "I have... I have things to prove to some people. Things- I mean, people I want to show my love for, you know? I'll become the best in the entire school so they know everything they did meant something." Akira felt the stares of everyone in the room and lowered his voice. "I'll show them I can do great things too."

Housemaster Evans looked double-impressed, as did Henderson. Just not Swan. "So, what does your father do for a living?"

"Spy," Anya started before stopping. Akira saw the horror that flashed across Loid's face. "Spychiatrist," Anya corrected quickly.

Akira bit back a sigh of relief.

"What do you think of Yor, then?" Housemaster Evans said.

"She's really nice," Akira murmured. "Very supportive as well."

"But also scary at times!" Anya chimed in gleefully.

Yor blinked, "Really?"

"What would you score your parents?" Housemaster Evans hid a smile.

"100!" Anya chirped. "Out of 100! They're really fun!"

Akira gave her a toothy grin, "Can't argue here."

"I want to stay with them forever!" They said at the same time. Clear shock resonated through Yor and Loid.

Housemaster Swan narrowed his eyes into slits. "I see," he was nearly hissing. He glared at Akira and Anya. "Well, since you've had two mother, which one do you prefer?"

Oh, no, no, no, no. Akira stiffened, feeling an electrical tingle run through him. "Hey!" He blurted out. "You can't-"

"Aww," Housemaster Swan mocked, "trying to protect your sister? She's older than you. She can protect herself." He spat the last word out with a sneer.

Akira clenched his teeth, prepared to launch at the housemaster before a sudden stifling whips through the cold air.

"Mom.." Anya whispered. "Mom..." Cold, wet tears run down her cheeks, her emerald green eyes replaying something in the past. "Mom..."

Akira  unconsciously jumped up from his seat and hurried over to Anya where he embraced her, wrapping his warm arms around her trembling shoulders. She buried her face into him where he held her, whispering quietly.

"Hey," he murmured as the spot where she was crying into started to feel wet. "Hey... don't listen to that bastard. He doesn't know anything."

"One is in tears," Housemaster Swan sneered. "The other looks emotionless."

Actually, Akira was overflowing with emotions. One being, I will hammer you into my bedroom wall and use you as my target for knife throwing practice! Once your 100% dead, I'll clean off your remains and hang you on my door as a poster!

"Mom..." Anya's voice was wobbly. "Mom..."

Akira moved over to sit next to Anya, holding her close and glaring dagger at Housemaster Swan.

"Don't touch her," he warned.

"Akira-" Loid started.

"Dad," Akira hissed, his entire frame turned toward Swan who was looking at him with a smile.

"We do not need a child who will get teary eyed over this nonsense!" Housemaster Swan declared.

"That's not-" Yor began.

"Try to touch her," Akira interrupted, his voice soft and on the verge of breaking a dam of fury, " try to touch her, insult her, hurt her, and I will find I way to murder you."
